Carismo design, the matte carbon on the top and bottom are special request. I've got a discount code if you want one.
More interested in your review after a month. I’m curious. It looks nice for sure.

Can anyone comment on whether the Carismo wheel and PRL wheel are of similar dimensions? From the PRL site, the handle diameter looks a little thinner. If possible I'd like to order whichever wheel has the "thicker" handle. I have larger than average hands and a thicker handle feels so much better.

Dropped my car off at the shop this morning to have the Spoon Rigid Collars and Front Stiff Plate installed. My alignment was a little off prior, cause it drives so much better now and feels smoother.

I have the PRL wheel and to me it’s the perfect thickness I definitely would not want one any thicker at least for me and my medium but wide size mitts. I’m not familiar with the Carismo so can’t compare. I’m very happy with my PRL Wheel though really changed the whole feeling driving the car and noticed I have more clearance getting in and out with the squared off bottom at least it seems that way I’m not rubbing on it any more. Also I got mine from @twostepperformance super fast shipping with excellent customer service. They are on sale now to ! I bought mine a week or so before they went on sale and they actually credited me back the difference 👍🏻
Now I can’t say if they always do that but just wanted to note that they were kind enough to do it for me .

I've got the full Alcantara Carismo one but don't know how the PRL wheel compares. From my experience, the Carismo one has a decent thickness in the areas where you grip the wheel the most especially in the 3 and 6 o'clock positions. Keep in mind that the Carismo one is not as round as a normal wheel and has more angles then a normal wheel. Its different but I really like it.

I had the Hybrid Racing in my 07 FA5 Si. loved it. (also dating myself, I just turned 61...)

One of the first mods on my FL5 was the Hybrid Racing shifter

I also installed the shifter cable bushings at the same time

The Hybrid Racing shifter feels a bit more notchy while still being buttery smooth, more crisp/sharp/precise, (and obviously shorter throws, adjustable height and position).

I like the bolt rifle analogy, though it doesn't quite hit that perfect rifle-bolt snap in the S2000, but I believe it's the closest you are going to get in an FL5.

I have not tried the Acuity shifter, but people rave about it too.

Though from my understanding, it has a different feel than the Hybrid Racing, much more notchy, yet precise and rifle-bolt solid, almost zero slop.

The Acuity shifter is also more adjustable so you can dial in an even shorter throw and knob position

However, there are a bunch of guys who describe it as too aggressive for pure street, gates feel closer together and a few have money-shifted or missed gears when really hammering it.

Do your research, ask more people, and make a decision that will suit your driving habits.
Stopped in at King Motorsports yesterday at lunch.

Mugen made in China?
That is the carbon overlay for the shifter console. My company has a few contracts with mfgs in China and while they do pump out a lot of cheap stuff, they also have come a long way in mfg in general and if you hire the right company/engineering team they can do work on par with any other mfg in the world.

The other part is this, and was made in Japan:

I'm more curious about it than anything, I'll give a good review once I have them on.

Just got the Origin Fabrication coolant expansion tank delivered today. This piece looks amazing, blows me away that this was done by a single person. Cant wait for there to actually be decent whether to install all the stuff I've just gotten.

And if anyone is curious, it looks like the tank was updated so the radiator cap sits the right way and is no longer sideways.

Updated interior picture. Added Proclips magnetic charging phone holder. Works fantastic and is a functional clean looking solution to mount your phone. Also added the Mugen Alcantara shift knob. Waiting on my Mugen steering wheel and carbon trim.
