  1. What did you do to your FL5 today?

I guess it was the lighting, in one of the pics it looked like it had a gurney flap attached to it. I do like tyhe subtlety of this spoiler
  2. Rev Match On or Off

It really could just be my feet lol but I had zero issues rev matching in my DC2, DC5, EM1, DB8, EF9, EG6 or EK4. I only had issues rev matching in my FK7, FK8 and FL5, so I left rev-matching on in the FL5
  3. Rev Match On or Off

It's up to personal preference but the 10th/11th gen civic have terrible pedal placement for heel-toe rev matching. If you've driven older Hondas/Acuras you will immediately notice how much more effort it requires to rev-match properly.
  4. Where’s the Aero?

Got a new one for you guys, if you're a part of the Type-R facebook groups then you probably saw them posting these recently. 117 Racing carbon front lip and GT Wing. I really appreciate that they have a fairly original design and not just copy some of the JDM stuff...
  5. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Kinda hard too tell from the pics does the Noblesse wing have a gurney flap built into it?
  6. Akrapovic FL5 Exhaust

We already have multiple threads for that sir
  7. Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

It is Acura's biggest seller at the moment but it still doesn't move the needle in terms of overall brand cache and market share. The TLX was outselling the 3 series and C class for a time but look where it ended up. The Integra is how they get people to buy into the brand as an entry level...
  8. Bummed so far with FL5 aftermarket exhaust sound

This is the way, I've yet to find an exhaust that sounds better than the downpipe+frontpipe and valve mod combo.
  9. Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

The Integra really only did well the year it was released and been on decline ever since. Like you said too much civic in its DNA. Acura should've launched the Integra with a detuned 10th Gen Accord 2.0T powertrain(yes this wouldve stepped on the toes of the TLX, but the TLX should've remained...
  10. Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

I'm assuming it's still being made in Japan because: 1). Brand Identity & Pride, Type-R being Japanese and made in Japan is important to Honda's identity and heritage. Yes the previous turbo type-rs were made in England but that's because they were greenlit and developed in England by Honda UK...
  11. Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

I agree on the smaller screen being better(personally I'd prefer a screen that could fit in the dashboard center mesh like the Ferrari passenger screens), but the overwhelming majority have always complained about Honda being behind times with screens, not realizing that Honda was doing screens...
  12. Wheels wheel wheels: decisions to make

Stick a pin! You've had a wheel company this whole time? why you aint plug it on the forum before?
  13. Where’s the Aero?

Here's an FL5 that got lost in the TAS 2026 sauce. The Kansai Service FL5, aero kit includes front lip, side skirts, front canards and rear under spoiler. Here's a link to their website: https://www.kansaisv.co.jp/demo_car/public_stock_detail.php?entry=0035.dat&model=democar_1
  14. Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

Completely useless to you, tthese changes would be to bring the FL5 in line with the rest of the line up and its capabilities since Honda is aiming to make the 9 inch touchscreen standard across its line up
  15. Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

The MSRP will go up anywhere between $1000-$1500 depending on the changes. Based on the ramblings I've heard, some changes for MY27 include adding Google built-in added to the touchscreen and updating it to be similar to the Acura ADX and Passport, where you can now watch videos on the screen...
  16. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

Who needs power when my VTEC goes BWWAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
  17. Where’s the Aero?

Ok that makes sense, should be fine then
  18. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

We're all just wishing for days of old when you and your buddies could have a Honda with the exact same engine, but if I bought a Greddy exhaust it sounded complete different from your DC sports exhaust and the next guys Apexi exhaust, all while each of them sounded great.
  19. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

The problem stems from the cylinder head integrated exhaust manifold, there's no real way to change the sound because you can't play with the exhaust pulses the same way. All they can really do is add or subtract noise and add or subtract rasp.
  20. Where’s the Aero?

You will not because that isn't a Greddy/Trust front lip. That front lip is made by Axis parts Japan. Greddy has no plans to make any aero parts for the FL5 at this time. They are focused on performance development for their Super Taikyu series FL5. I emailed them last year asking if they have...
