I have a relationship with Norm Reeves HB, I buy from them all the time. Some times you can get a deal done, some times it doesn't pan out. Just because it did for you doesn't mean it will be like that for someone else or happen like that every time.
It’s all good brother hope your journey works out for you. I’ve been buying and selling cars for around 40 years and never once bought or sold one via text message but hey you seem to be pretty good with it 👍🏻
Guess I’m old school but seems to work out pretty good for me . That relationship doesn’t seem to be In Your favor With NR HB and preferred mine since I got mine for much cheaper from them. Guess they like to do business face to face like most businesses.

Hope it works out for you lol doesn’t sound like it thus far . I only called to make sure they had the car and went there to negotiate not on the phone or via text messages 🙄
Got my 2025 CW from Rocket Honda in Buelton Ca. about a month ago. It was 14k over MSRP , including 4k of add ONS and what not. I got it for $48500 plus tax and license. Best part was they gave me a lifetime power train warrantee as long as I own the car on top of that. $100 deductible. Deals are possible, just be patient and see which dealerships have them in stock , not allocations.

Welcome to my ignore list with your capeless girl friend hero 🤣 Happy texting with your never acquirable FL5 to you lol unless you put your phone down and man up and go to a dealer like a serious respectable buyer. If I was a dealer I’d also quote you 10 grand over sticker with a reply on your cell phone 🤣🤣
I can’t stomach anymore unsubscribed lol🤪

Coming in late, not sure if it's been mentioned but Honda East Cincinnati has only been selling FL5s at MSRP since the came out. I traveled there to get mine and drove it home which was a great time.

They didn't try to push any BS on me at all and were happy to go through the motions of add ons but breezed through them after I said I wasn't interested.

Best car buying experience I've ever had, and I got to support a dealership that wasn't trying to rake you over the coals to own an FL5.

513-685-0980, ask for Gary.

I got mine from Scott Robinson Honda in Torrance. From everything I observed over 2 months of shopping, every dealership in California is willing to make a deal, but it depends on timing.
I went to the same dealerships that my friends purchased from, and they wouldn't offer me the same deal they did for my friends.
I talked to NR Cerritos, Gardena, Riverside, Airport Marina (Santa Monica), Pasadena, Goudy/Alhambra, Hardin - none of them gave me the deal I wanted, so I left - Yes, I went to each one in person, spent 2-3hrs at each one... left.
Airport Marina said 5k markup + addons "Sorry, can't remove them" - a week later, I see someone post on here that they got the car from them for 2k markup no add-ons.

Every dealership does business via text, email and in person. There is no right or wrong way - they will do business the way the customer wants - but again, it's all based on timing.

I have a friend from the bay area who bought from Gardena at MSRP - 100% through text message. He flew down to socal, and Gardena had paperwork ready for him - he was in & out in 45mins.
I have friends who purchased from Pasadena and Hardin at MSRP - they both laughed at me when I told them my offer.

I don't know anyone who bought from Scott Robinson, but I got my car for $1k over + $1k addons (effectively $2k over MSRP) and that was the best deal I'd gotten so far. It was also 8pm March 31st, the last day of the month&quarter. It was a buzzer beater for the sales guy.

good luck my guy! just be persistent and keep trying.

I'd recommend planning to be at a dealership on Aug30th/31st and prepare to negotiate hard - but also be ready to walk if they aren't ready to sell the car. It's not you - it's them. Just move on to the next dealer.
The worst experience I had was at Culver City Honda - if you can get a FL5 from them at MSRP - I'll buy you lunch just to hear how you did it. F*ck those guys.

in my case, they had not sold a single car that day and I went to the dealership at 630pm and there were only 3 people there, the detail guy, the sales guy and the finance guy. I paid cash for mine..Car was only there for 3 days, with 6 miles on it. Pretty sure every deal is different and unique. What makes my deal special is the life time unlimited powertrain warrantee, I have not seen anyone else that has gotten this warrantee with their purchases.

I had one phone call with my sales guy, and then only texted, an out of state dealer, and had a great experience and got it at MSRP. Join us in the future bro.

I did have to wait 3 months to get mine, so fair point if you need something asap.
There in lies the problem, most that are ready to buy are also not ready to wait, especially if what they're looking for is already on the lot. Buying a FL5 is an exercise in patience unless you're fine with markups of course
