Everything seems so expensive these days even for a PDR. If you find anyone that you would recommend in your search, please post your findings and results. I'm also in SoCal Orange County area and I'm also looking for a good PDR guy to work on a ding of my wife's car. Thanks.
Most phones will just get hot on the OE charging mat because it cannot sit flat against it due the camera bump. Using a case will just make it worst as it increases the air gap and trap more of the heat.
I haven't read through the entire 9 pages, but is there any usable function(s) that we're losing if the TCU is removed? For example, update notification, etc... I don't subscribe to anything and I don't use the Honda Apps.
Thank You! My searching skill was failing for some reason
I don't see Boost Blue from that list. However, some "Googling" revealed that the -J00ZE is the Boost Blue version.
For reference if anyone is curious, here are the paint codes:
R513 - Rallye Red
NH877P - Sonic Gray Pearl...
How do find the exact part number for the prepainted bumpers? On Honda Dream Shop, it only shows one part for the front and one for the rear, which I assumed this is the unpainted cover? Just curious how you guys are finding the specific painted versions? Thanks.
Where would the center mount brake light go if the center would also light up? Would you have to do the cybertruck thing where you take away light when you brake?
There are always compromises. Sure, it may improve cooling, but at what cost? Are you going to get some additional lift due to having more air flow under the car? Are these even a consideration for the aftermarket? I'm just saying that the aftermarket is so focus on solving one problem while...
I'm struggling to think that any aftermarket companies would have more knowledge (and R&D money) on how to cool down a car better than the engineers who designed the car. If this was a better way to cool down the engine bay, wouldn't you think Honda would have done it? There's a reason why the...
Could very well be just a German thing. However, since the alternator output appears to be variable, I suspect there must be some sort of BMS on the car. Maybe Honda figured out a charging algorithm without the need of battery registration?
I've owned many Hondas as well in the past, but only until the 2004. I switched over to zee Germans since then and all of them requires battery registration due to having a BMS. Now that I'm back into a Honda after a 20years+ hiatus, just wasn't sure if this battery registration has caught up...
I have to do the same on my wife's S3. I use OBD11 to let the car know if the new battery is flooded, or AGM, etc and the AH of the new battery. Have to do the same for BMWs
Just thinking ahead when I have to replace the battery. Does anyone know if we have to register the battery after it's being replaced? If so, how do we do it? Every car (that I know of) that has a battery management system (BMS) requires this - to let the car know that there's a new battery...
