Appreciate everyone's tips and recommendations and telling me to keep at it. I'll be picking up my 2025 Championship White Type R this weekend... the deal was made by text and phone calls without even having to step foot into the dealer.

Downside, the dealer is 3 hours away when I go pick it up. So I guess its worth it for almost paying MSRP.

It was, I got mine in Central California, but that was the only one they've gotten in awhile and won't be getting anymore any time soon from what they told me. Inventory is very scarce in CA.

I used the Motoring Obsession site to help find it as others have posted, some of the inventory info may not be up to date, so I used the site mainly for dealer info and reached out to them directly.

Inventory is scarce everywhere, there are currently 6 MY2025 available for sale in South Florida with one CBP in transit but the 2026 MY won’t be available for at least another month. If you want one, now’s the time to get one because the MSRP will go up.

We just got 5 Civic Type Rs in: Rallye Red, Championship White, Crystal Black, Boost Blue, and Sonic Gray.

This is the last year for the Type R, and they’re moving fast. Want me to lock one in for you before they’re gone?

yet they have five in the showroom... for the last few years, the most I've seen in SoCal was two at one dealer, and only one at others.

I responded with "there seems to be a glut, I'll wait till prices drop under MSRP..."
