I just picked up my car from the detailer. Did a full initial detail/decontamination with paint correction, PPF the front half with pieces on high impact areas in the rear quarter panel and bumper, ceramic, and tint. Here's some potato lighting pictures.

Where in SoCal is this detailer at? Always looking for someone that does a great job.

I did the A and B pillars and leading edge of roof too. I also covered the rear corner of the rear doors, bottom edge of rear quarter panels, and the top of the rear bumper.
Another place I notice marks is the back edge of the roof too, from about where the XM antenna is and back.

Had the seat recall completed today. Happy to say everything came out perfect. Such a pleasure not to hear the seat frame squeak while cornering.

With how much is covered already, but with much more I want to have done… I’m kinda regretting not getting the whole thing PPF’d.

Finally had some time and a lift available to install my Remark Ti exhaust/frontpipe, PRL intercooler and RMM and Honda dual horn upgrade. Car sounds and feels so much better, and what a difference it makes having a respectable horn!

I got a few requests for pictures showing my Cusco wing risers from further away, and before taking these pictures, I didn't think the wing stood much higher from stock... but you be the judge.

I still think they could stand to be 2"-3" taller, but couldn't we all?

The appearance is stunning! I absolutely Love the camouflage pattern you've incorporated both inside and outside.

Installed a Cusco strut bar. Personally I'm not sure they do anything, but hey they look cool.

Looks good. I have the 27Won strut brace but really struggled to get it to clear the battery (had to remove the battery jacket). I notice that Cusco also has some chassis power braces for the FL5. Can I ask where you purchased the strut brace from?

First oil change (5k miles), test drove a GRC (core), and “installed” matte CF door sill trim. I used the one from Amazon I linked a couple days ago, they look good and fit perfectly.

11th Gen Honda Civic What did you do to your FL5 today? IMG_4353

GRC was OK, the clutch and shifter were both a good deal heavier than the FL5's - not sure I'd want to daily it in our traffic here to be honest if I was doing a lot of commuting. Interior is simple and clean, felt less cheap than I expected/remembered. Power is decent but there is no excitement to the engine, I think because the power delivery is very flat through the rev band. Felt more like a supercharged engine than a turbo TBH. Exhaust sounds better than the FL5 but that's not saying much. I even faintly heard it blowoff once or twice. Ride comfort seemed good, the seats were SUPER comfy but basically no lateral support. The trunk is hilarious btw, I mean wow it's about half the size you would expect. It's the Miata of hatchbacks :D I think this would be a decent car for my wife, heavy clutch aside, and I'd probably enjoy it too on occasion.

If you install the K&N filter or similar you’ll hear some whoosh and blow off valve noises

I ordered it form Black Hawk Japan. Don't do what I did......I mistakenly ordered the strut bar for FK8 from a different outfit and it will NOT bolt up. That place had the correct one back order so I used Black Hawk Japan.
