Also, what’s going on with the mirrors? They look…vintage.
That's just the angle of that photo. I kinda dig 'em, they didn't go full minimalist with the design of the arm. I'd like to see it in forged.

Thanks for the additional photo. I can appreciate some aspects of it. The problem is that the arm is all curvy and sculptural, then they put a mirror shaped like a rounded brick on top. It isn’t a cohesive design by itself. Added to the car exacerbates how odd it is.

They showed prototype designs a while back and I never liked them.

The universal APR track mirrors look way better imo because the mount and design is minimalist, which matches the track mirror itself

@albi I took a look at the APR mirrors and they are MUCH better. Just the shape of the mirror housing itself is far and away better. Now…if APR could make a little CF cover piece to hide the mounting bracket bolts, that’d be a killer way to finish off the look.

But anyway…sorry for the thread derailment @Half_Ghost

EVS has the same style mirrors for every car. Not any different from Spoon. Saves money.

Understandable, but the poor design also helps them NOT get money. Seems like a bad trade-off to me. I imagine the mirrors look better on some cars versus others though.

I agree. One design for all cars is not good.

Photoshopped the EVS car with a wing delete. I think it looks kinda good with just the lip spoiler.. what do you think?

I like the OEM wing from the factory. I do understand and respect folks thinking differently though.
Agree and agree. I generally like wings on performance cars, if done properly, and I've owned several so I'm a bit biased. On the FL5, I think it just...works. I've read and heard several reviews that commented the wing appears "tacked on" and "less integrated" vis-à-vis the FK8. I disagree. It flows well, good design aesthetic, proportions are appropriate, and it's functional - especially true of the carbon fiber version with the added gurney flap. With that said, if you don't like it, take it off. It's your car and you're free to do whatever you'd like with it.
