I think it looks better without a wing if you have a somewhat aggressive stance and AM wheels. There are a few examples around and they look pretty good, especially in person.

Appreciate the effort and insight for this piece.

For an owner who wants a CTR without a rear wing, the true ‘flex’ would be a color matched hatch, not a couple unsightly plastic bumps. JMO
This looks terrible with the plastic pieces. And the idea of a wingless Type R sounds preposterous.

I personally like this. I understand there may be an effect on aerodynamics and everyone hates that this makes it look closer to the lower trims but i think this would look killer paired with the HKS duckbill.

Not my cuppa tea, but I appreciate the thought process and solution. To other people’s point, it seems like PRL could make a less subtle, vortex generator, version. I assume these are machined individually, so making another design option would be pretty straightforward.

Glad PRL offer this, thank you.

I am keeping my wing for now...but I am also a fan of the GT3 touring and had an STI Limited 2019 - sometimes the wing is too much...especially if you can figure our a classy fixed duckbill sort of thing. My main concern would be true aero use if going fast....Honda tuned the car's aerodynamics. This clearly breaks that a little.... And it looks to be reversible, so great option.

Wait are you talking about these delete covers being painted CW or repaint the hatch/plate panel because they don't match on a lot of people's CTRs?

Guys, if you plan on going wingless to daily the car it’s awesome!

If you are worried about the aerodynamic component when going on the track, reinstall the wing it takes 5 minutes! Literally 4 screws and 6 bolts!
