As promised, here are the results from our testing!
Our Testing
For our FL5 intercooler testing, we conducted a controlled, same-day comparison between the OEM intercooler, our existing PRL bar-and-plate intercooler, and our new PRL tube-and-fin intercooler. Ambient temperatures remained steady...

We don't plan to offer paint matched options. OEM paint is extremely difficult to match, which is why our P0-7F wheels are not offered in championship white no matter how much we wanted to do it. We decided to go with an anodized finish. This way, they are protected from corrosion if you want to...
No release date yet, but once we have one I will be sure to let everyone here know! We finished up some testing on the intercooler. I will be posting a write up on that here within the next week or so.

Yes we do! We’re incredibly proud of that intercooler, but we’ve heard the community asking for a tube and fin intercooler, so we listened, and we wanted to bring the best “no compromises” intercooler...
It sits right behind the fog light housing. As long as you have your fender liner & do not drive through any deep water, the risk of water getting in there is miniscule since it is in an enclosed area.
The Cobra will be louder, sees a little more gains, & the location of the filter allows it to pull some cooler air by being completely out of the engine bay. Install will take a bit longer/is more involved with the Cobra, & the location of the filter will take more time to access for service.
