Hoping for that. I know it's not for like 6 years and it's only every other year, and it's "easy enough", but if I don't have to faff around with uninstalling and reinstalling the intake, I'd be happy. Some, yes.

Love it. Cobb makes quality products and I cant wait to see what u think cuz I might just go back with cobb like my subarusJust opened the boxes, here are some pics. The intercooler is hefty. I haven't seen the PRL one in person but this one seems to be very beefy and it includes aluminum charge pipes to replace the silicone ones as well. The intake looks good too, I like the top hatch to for maintenance of the filter. I'll try and weigh the IC.

I posted an update last week after I got everything installed and drove it around for a couple of days. Really happy with the parts and also the stage 2 tune that I updated to. Let me know if you have any questions.Love it. Cobb makes quality products and I cant wait to see what u think cuz I might just go back with cobb like my subarus
You’re the pro, around here where I live doesn’t have reputable shop I stay 3 hrs away from you I would love to take my car to your shop someday to let you tune itIf I'm honest I've never removed the ECU to install a PRL FL5/DE5 intake so I'm not sure why people that say that. My tip is to loosen the the bracket, install duct, re-secure the bracket.
a 3 hour drive for some quality work aint so bad. Make a road trip out of it. Head out early and your car would've completely learned the tune by the tie you get back homeYou’re the pro, around here where I live doesn’t have reputable shop I stay 3 hrs away from you I would love to take my car to your shop someday to let you tune it
I just did this.a 3 hour drive for some quality work aint so bad. Make a road trip out of it. Head out early and your car would've completely learned the tune by the tie you get back home
Interesting you felt no difference on the Stage 1 93 octane map. I immediately noticed more power over stock from around 3,300 RPM to redline. It's not mind blowing, but there's a moderate bump which is to be expected from this type of OTS map. I'll get the car tuned in the coming months and will share the outputs from baseline (Stage 0 - hard parts on stock map), 93 octane COBB Tuning OTS map, and custom tune.I just did this.
Drove from DFW to Austin for Cobb to unlock my ECU. Stopped to eat afterwards and went home.
Cobb flashed their 93 OTS tune and I could not tell a difference. I did do the three hour drive to Cobb in comfort mode. Any mode besides comfort made the car feel faster.
When I got home and installed the Cobb intake, flashed the 93 Stage 1+. I could feel the increased power.
Yup the tunes have a small learning that if you’re unaware of is a bit deflating lolI just did this.

Are you able to upload the Cobb log to Datazap.me and post it or post a log with the Cobb ap?Interesting you felt no difference on the Stage 1 93 octane map. Happy to, won't be today though. What specifically are you trying to ascertain from the logs? And, what specific data parameters are you interested in seeing? Are you able to upload the Cobb log to Datazap.me and post it or post a log with the Cobb ap?
I just want to see an overall log file of how it’s running on the tune. Boost pressure, WGDC if there is a parameter for it, timing, timing corrections, etc, etc. I haven’t seen any public log files of any tuned FL5’s.Happy to, won't be today though. Got it. To be clear, the log file will be for the OTS Stage 1 93 octane map. I am not running a custom tune at the moment. I received the last piece today and will likely get the car custom tuned later this year.I just want to see an overall log file of how it’s running on the tune. Curious how its done. I only wanted the intake for sound and Im stock no tune so just didnt install the air router from the fender... lol And cause of this, ECU didnt come out LOLIf I'm honest I've never removed the ECU to install a PRL FL5/DE5 intake so I'm not sure why people that say that.
