Right. I'd have paid $2k ADM in a heartbeat if it meant not having to deal with shipping from out of state.
When I picked my car up in early 2024 though, ADM in California was still pretty nuts (10k+).
The Borla exhaust on the HRC Type-S is a different 3" system than the current offering for our DE5 because the latter is actually just the FL5 exhaust they've already had out. They just had to work on lengthening it and dealing with the additional resonator.
Hoping for that. I know it's not for like 6 years and it's only every other year, and it's "easy enough", but if I don't have to faff around with uninstalling and reinstalling the intake, I'd be happy.
For me, I found it a lot easier to service by removing ECU. I don't really see an issue with removing it if you pay attention to the pins when reinstalling.
These don't happen to have a delay where it won't flash/pulse if the brake was pressed in the last xx seconds?
That would be helpful in stop and go traffic because it would be super annoying to have it flash every.single.time.
I really didn't even know USAA offered that for CA-based policies. I always thought you had to just file it under comprehensive, of which you'd be subject to the deductible unlike other states like FL where it's zero out of pocket for windshield.
Are you going through comprehensive or is your home state not CA (I see your location is San Diego).
AFAIK, CA policies don't offer windshield coverage for USAA, with whom I am also insured.
He's not really asking for a referral though. I'm in SoCal too and knowing a shop that charges around that much allows me to at least possibly consider them should I need work.
We're not exactly expecting an endorsement here, just info.
