You're on H&R's, right? Wondering if you knew if 275/35/19's would work but I doubt it based on your pics.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should. 265 is plenty wide enough for this car. With the 20mm/25mm spacers and slight H&R drop it is the perfect OEM + look. If I want to pop for 5k wheels down the road then I will revisit but for now it is perfect.

After months of stalling, Sporky is back.
May and June were busy.
I followed @Brittania 's advice...
Got new Honda Forged Shark Gray 19x9.5 inch wheels, and got them mounted on Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, size 275/35/ZR19.
Also added H&R Trak+ 15mm spacers all around, front and rear.

Thanks for all the advice, y'all.
Ground clearance safely increased.
H&R 15mm spacers bring the wheels to just inside the fender.
Fender gap filled.
I definitely feel a difference.
It is now easier to get in and out of the car, almost comfortably.
The 275/35ZR19 tires are noticeably more supportive of the wheels, like bear huggy supportive, so I don't feel like the tire is gonna rip out from under the tire, leaving me skating around on metal wheels.
I couldn't stand the nonstop nerve racking feeling of driving on those thin rubber bands.
To each his own, but man, those stock wheels are WAY too close to the ground for me to maintain any sort of peace of mind.

So, Increased Ground Clearance Phase 1 complete.

Got a new Sporky coined term for this:

Unslammed .

Welcome, all, to Civic Unslammed .

Yeah, you went the route I would suggest - a slightly taller tire. You also get a bit more sidewall for comfort and rim protection which are good things IMO.

Well, no Monster Civic Jamboree ... yet ... but I did finally chonk out my wheels a bit.

Here we have the MITA Motorsport FKS wheel in 18x9.0J ET +45 mounted on the Pirelli P Zero summer tire in size 275/45ZR18.

Still on Stock OEM FL5 springs / shocks, camber and dampers / damper module.

This is about as Maxx Chonk as I think I can go for now.
Check it out.

Stay tuned here and on my Sporky Sidegrades build thread for details.
Remind me to measure the ground clearance next time I leave the house. The tape measure is already in the car.

Cheers.

Sooo...
Finally got to a flat and level parking lot yesterday, in Pearland, TX.
Measured the clearance with the current MITA Motorsports wheels and Pirelli tires.

Keep in mind, this is just ground clearance, and the full wheel wells don't allow for much suspension travel... so there's that.
The front tires do be rubbing when braking while turning.
Something to keep in mind.

Sporky, keep doing your thing dude. This sort of reminds me of Richard Rawlings’ lifted Shelby, which I think is oddly cool. Meanwhile, the Shelby purists clutch their pearls just thinking about it.🤣

I says you get a lift kit or maybe just coilovers that let you increase the height. Maybe you'll get that tiny bit extra you wanted for getting into the car
