Rim width and clearance question....

Not sure if anyone knows this offhand....but looking for some help on this as it's a NEW platform for me so I guess this is part of the research

Was considering a 10" rim with 285/35-18 rubber. BUT.....Might run a 10.5" rim with a 305/35-18 track focused tire. My problem is how much INSIDE clearance is there as I don't want to go TOO far outward on the new setup.

Currently I'm looking at a moving the RIM outward 24.5mm (48 offset) keeping the inside flush with the stock setup. I can run a +53 offset which would be about 19.5mm outward, but 5.5mm closer inside to the suspension....

I guess I need to know how much internal clearance we have so I can keep the tires from Protruding TOO much!?

Also on this topic:

A 275/35-19 is about the SAME overall height as a 305/35-18!! So no need to drop the car to keep that 'gap' filled nicely!

Please dont take this the wrong way - everyone starts somewhere, but I'm a bit perplexed with your questions (including some of your other threads) because arent you running a custom wheel company? Shouldnt this be wheel fitment 101 and also a bit of self research/self work under the car and with a scanner and/or measure tape or caliper for both brake clearance and suspension clearance, etc?

Sure, but again, this is wheel fitment 101 especially for a custom wheel company. Why arent you under the car or someone you work with under the car to get this information first hand? I would consider that to be part of your own R&D process.

Why? Stock is 9.5. 10 is nothing on these cars. Easily fit 11" and 305
