It is a nice option regardless. It looks amazing! If I install something, I go with 265. I don’t know if 275 comes all season, and I daily mine. But lowering springs, I don’t think is a bad option either. I will go with H&R because of my driveway 😂.
🤌🤌🤌 🤌🤌🤌 In my opinion, and it is also something that you see as often, question what tire you are going to be running size-wise, probably brand because it might be different, I found out. Also, how are you going to lower the car on springs or going to go all out?
Exactly one tip: I put some dielectric grease on both sides when installing it. I have that for the intercooler hoses, but that a pry bar and a rubber mallet will have in less than an hour jacking up the car is the damn problem 😂.
I really don’t even notice it now that it’s “broken in.” At first, there was a slight vibration, but now it feels pretty stock—just not too aggressive. I’m at 1,560 miles. I can report that, with the AC and heater on, cruising at 75–80 mph, both upshifts and downshifts at an aggressive pace It...
I would never buy from 27Won. They just developed a product to ride the hype, and when they get criticized, they just cry about it. Awful company—I will never spend a penny on them. Remark is amazing, but they don’t offer a cat-back. I understand that having the whole system after the downpipe...
That’s one of the ones I’m considering for mine, but like you said, the rattle is probably a turn-off. I really think the strongest contender is the Hybrid Racing because they offer the polished-tip version. I believe all the exhausts are dual tips, maybe because it’s cheaper to produce than...
I’m sorry, master, that you’re the know-it-all. My contact was directly through the AKRA website, who replied to my email was turn 14, acknowledging the statement I copied before on the comment. Because manufacturers don’t make one car just to showcase what their capabilities of manufacturing...
I ended up ordering other one instead will get replaced on the next’s change if everything goes well thanks for the recommendation, but also people here talk so much about the "impressive" quality of the JDM parts and everyone suck it up so much if you say something negative you get bombarded...
Just making this post to thank whoever shared the information on the Greddy magnetic drain plug, 23901303. If I’m not mistaken, it’s for the GR86. The thread pitch is M20-1.5, and it fit like a glove. Now the Type R has magnetic drain plugs for both the engine oil and transmission.
If anyone...
Well, like you said, it's important to see availability and pricing. It is an interesting proposal, but I wonder if it’s a resonated version or a non-resonated one. Based on the picture, it looks like a “race” version. Since it’s in Japan, I think they are really strict when it comes to...
Ok guys we can have all the wet dreams we want about this exhaust but and I quote "At this time Akrapovic has not announced any plans to do a system for the FL5 Type R. I don't have details on the system that was at the salon but if you have images to share with me I can try to get additional...
Just found this on EBay hope is helpful for someone according to the description it can be used to the open valve instead of removing the fuse and also for the exhaust that requires to remove the OEM valve to not have the soft code on the ECU.

I know this will not improve the aerodynamics of the car at all, but I have always liked the gurney flaps I installed on my EVO before I removed the spoiler. I also ordered the Likewise shift knob with the EVA foam and had the serial number engraved. Thanks to @Phenom3030—I saw his and it gave...
Don’t know if this could help on this topic but Wunderladen Racing label this parts as camber adjustment for the FK8/FL5 by apparently adjusting both toe and camber, probably I’m wrong too.
