Although I prefer triple over double tips, I'm excited to install the Hybrid Racing Valved Exhaust on my new FL5! I had it briefly on my FK8 before selling the car to make room for the FL5, and even with a catted high flow downpipe and front pipe, it sounded excellent.

Deep tone, no rasp or drone (Truly. After having 7 different exhaust setups on that car I know drone very well). Independent valve control is also super underrated - don't need to worry about valve open for cold start waking up neighbors and family on a weekend morning.

Will share clips when it's on later this month :)

How’s the sound with stock exhaust and just a downpipe? Debating going this route as I really don’t want to cut up the exhaust.

Absolutely :)

I've been sorting out my spreadsheet first, and will start the thread once the sheet's mostly ready to share.

Anyone in Orange County, CA know of a good muffler shop to do the resonator delete chop? Thanks.

only exhaust on the market that uses V-band clamps, one of the few that includes the option to use a test pipe or resonator, lifetime warranty. Head scratching how more people don’t have it on their car.

May I ask how long you've had yours? Having a real tough time deciding which route to go in terms of exhaust. Was leaning towards 27Won's, but am open to other options. Just trying to avoid AWE as most people seem to go that route. Sending the resonator and test pipe are definitely intriguing.

I also noticed that their xMOD seems to be no longer available and they are pushing the SPEQ now.

I highly recommend against any exhaust with slip joints. Exhausts with 3 bolt flanges don't work themselves loose over time, and they also fit right the first time. When installing a slip fit you have to spend additional time and headache to get everything "clocked" just right, and then the joints work themselves loose over time, and even quicker if you track the car.

I don’t have it on my car, my client has it on his but the install was done at the dealership I used to work for, so I saw it firsthand. He had some of the same concerns like you with using AWE. Idk why they got rid of the xMOD.

I love it. I have TSP downpipe with unaltered stock exhaust and it is a super deep tone. Slightly louder, a calm low growl

There’s this option, vid is install on ITS. Seen some of things work on other cars.

That requires welding - I haven't been able to find a shop that can weld to my satisfaction. Oh...I wish LHT was in SoCal :(
