I’ve had the door carbon inserts on order from Impex JP since 5/27. Still says no eta. Hopefully Bucci wasn’t affected by the floods.
I ordered them 5/10 and was estimated last week I'd recieved around 7/21, so I'd guess you'd get yours early to mid August but I didn't get them from the same place

Thanks man! Sorry, busy weekend and thereafter so I hadn't logged on. Yes I purchased Dr. Beasley microsuede protection, but used Sonax's alcantara cleaner on the seats first (I like that it's a foam rather than a spray that would potentially over saturate the seats). I'd highly recommend it for that peace of mind.
So would you clean the seats just as you would clean an alcantara steering wheel?

Anyone have recommendations on how to safely get the shipping protection goop off?

I’d say the principle is the same, though since it’s far more likely to contain oils, I’d start out with a steam cleaner. Auto geek made a lengthy video on the subject I appreciated

I used a solvent based adhesive remover.
Didn't affect the clearcoat or anything? A guy at the dealership said to just pull it off lol

You can pull off most of the shipping plastic but what you're referring to, you can't "just pull it off" because the remnants are bonded to the surface.

I started with very mild soap and water, then a quick detailer, a rinseless wash and none of those worked. They probably would've worked with elbow grease but I wasn't willing to apply too much pressure marring the surface in the process. I realized I had to go with something a bit stronger. Once you spray on the solvent, the adhesive essentially melts away. As long as you're purposeful with how you apply it, there won't be an issue. Don't bathe the car in it and don't let it sit. I also had a full decon, paint correction, and ceramic coating after so wasn't at all concerned about the clearcoat.

Didn’t do this today, but installed a Cusco FK8 front strut tower bar. Only installed mod so far, got a bunch of boxes in my garage with stuff to install but I’m waiting on my Spoon lowering springs before getting to it.

Sent my ECU you in for a flash, so decided to remove some parts to get wrapped at overland designs and since my tint guy ruined my arm rest, I removed those and the plastic piece in front and sent them to Sweidit to get wrapped in leather, Hope all goes well!

Good timing, I just swapped the overland shift boot in from the pleather original. Fitment is perfect, even the parts you don’t see. I chose the DIY boot.

Did the same thing myself! Added a raceseng shift knob while at it.

I was going to pick up my FL5 today but plans changed and I was able to do it yesterday. Originally, I was going to fly but something happened with my flight so I rented a car instead. I left the house at 9:30am and didn't get back until 11:30pm, but it was worth it. As instructed, the dealership left almost all the plastic protectors were kept in place and the car was unwashed.

Had quite the crowd of employees and car shoppers when I was applying my temporary PPF for the drive home. People on the road probably thought I was nuts after seeing the front end with would appear to be clear tape all over it.

Today I applied some suede protection product to the front seats and other suede/suede-like surfaces. I also put my high wall floor mats in, installed the hatch seatback protector (car came with the cargo tray already) and installed the DIY fender vent mesh behind the front wheels.

This week the plan is to do a full decontamination wash and then park it in the garage for a full color correction/polish before I send it out to get PPF'd in about a week or so.

Thanks for sharing. The red weave is quite prominent compared to the OEM bits. Are these custom pieces?
