  1. 25 Type R build thread: Trying to be different....

If you run something like the BONOSS spacers this isn't an issue, since there are separate studs that are attached to the spacer. I run 20mm front/rear without issue and did so as I plan to run a 18x9.5 +40 or +38 offset with aftermarket wheels, so I wanted something close for when I switch...
  2. North Carolina FS - Hasport 62A 'Street' RMM

Selling a Hasport 62A rear motor mount used on my FL5 for about 500 miles. I decided to go a different direction so no longer need this. Asking $120 shipped within the contiguous USA.
  3. North Carolina (SOLD) FS - ITS ADS Module

Update - ADS is sold. Selling my Integra Type S ADS module. I found I like the stock ADS more after swapping to Spoon springs, but the ITS ADS module was an improvement with my stock springs. Asking $240 shipped within the contiguous USA.
  4. Front Lip for Daily

I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the Project Aero lip unfortunately. I assume that the holes I previously drilled will not be visible when that lip is installed since they aren't visible now with no lip on the car (unless you are under the front bumper, looking up).
  5. Front Lip for Daily

To be fair, I have a shitty drive aisle to get back to my work's parking area. You can't angle at all when turning into it and there is a steep crown on the road that then angles sharply back up to as you pull into the drive aisle. It is not kind to lowered cars and/or front lips. I still...
  6. Front Lip for Daily

Mine broke within like 2 weeks. Barely touched something and a whole chunk cracked off. The included hardware is also shit tier, I fully recommend doing bolts + nuts and not the self tappers + 3M tape. I will be going Project Aero for a daily use lip in the future.
  7. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Wheel install is super easy. The only tricky part is what you mentioned, make sure you get it on the right spline when reinstalling. No need for an alignment, plus not sure how that would help since there is no change to the suspension geometry. Wish they had made it foolproof like in BMWs...
  8. New to the expansion tank issue

I know people on here aren't fans of it but I have had the Radium coolant tank for a little 10k miles after my OEM tank failed. No issues so far. There weren't a lot of options when I got the Radium. I will likely replace it with one from another manufacturer in the future.
  9. Overland Designs Center Console Side Trims- OEM +

Also recommending this product. I have a red shift boot from them, these side console pieces in black and the center console top in black. The OEM shift boot and the silver silver console piece are the pieces I disliked the most in the interior and I am so much happier with the Overland...
  10. EVS Tuning Ball Joint Install!

I have lower ball joints installed (middle setting) and am on Spoon springs with strut pins pulled. Just had an alignment after getting some new tires installed and I was sitting at around -3.3-3.4 degrees or so before the tech adjusted my upper mounts to get to my -2.5 degree target on the...
  11. Radar Detector Mirror Mount?

I used a BNR-2001R to mount my Uniden, but it required some cutting of the plastic housing at the mirror stem. I have a FitcamX dash cam that comes with it's own replacement plastic housing pieces in front of the mirror, so I wasn't cutting into the OEM plastics (although they are probably...
  12. Steering Wheel intermittently Vibrate After Steering Rack Replacement

Just a FYI - the correct wheel nut torque is 94 ft/lbs. At least that is what the consensus online is. That is the correct torque value for the M14 sized wheel nuts on other current Honda models with the same wheel nut size. The 80 ft/lbs value listed in the owner's manual seems to be...
  13. PPF longevity

As others have said, modern PPF is a lot better of a product compared to 20 years ago (hell, even 10 years ago). I had Suntek Ultra applied on my last car once I took delivery and it was miles better than the PPF I had on a car from 5 years prior. The front bumper PPF did start to look a...
  14. Paragon brake pad for 90% commuter, 10% autox/HPDE

I have titanium shims and Paragon R3s on the front. The R3s squeal more than any other pad I have had, some of which were more aggressive compounds. Honestly am on the fence about reverting to the OEM pads as it is embarrassingly loud.
  15. Spoon Springs with ITS ADS Module

I have this combo. I had the same though about going back to the stock ADS module but after riding on this setup for a while I have to say it feels really good for street driving. Roads around me are generally good but around my work are atrocious so I get to experience a wide range of road...
  16. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Took the FL5 to a 2-day Autocross event this weekend.
