After my previous update, I have successfully installed the OEM Honda wheel locks. Yesterday, I visited the dealership to have the alcantara steering wheel installed. Additionally, I placed an order for my first carbon piece from Japan! The car also received a thorough detailing recently. If you're interested, here's a video showcasing my experience.

Finally got around to removing the front plate and plugging the holes. Now need to replace the ppf for the rock chip (lower right) but at least it saved the paint

What did you buy to plug the holes with??

Successfully installed RV6 Rear Sway Bar & Whiteline adjustable end links.

Wow...the way the FL5 turns in and rotates with the RV6 Sway Bar - beautiful. I didn't think the car could get significantly better with just the sway bar upgrade but it did.

Highly recommend.

Technically last week - Install MRT resonator delete. Small increase in volume and the exhaust note is a little more aggressive. I am happy with it for now but will go full exhaust in the future.

Today I installed the ITS ADS module but have yet to test it out.

Also paid the car off in full. Very pumped about that.

Installed a blue carbon fiber wing today. More details here:

After waiting about 2 months (most of that was for shipping), I finally received the custom order blue carbon fiber wing from EPR International today.

It looks exactly like the OEM carbon fiber wing style. The quality is excellent, and it was wrapped with loads of bubble wrap and foam inside the shipping box. No issues with the install. I used locking screws from TSP.

I wish the blue was a little lighter, but still, I think it looks great.

Funny, I wasn’t mad that Honda went back to a leather steering wheel on the FL5 at first but this alcantara OEM wheel matches my shift boot. Pretty easy install. About an hour, being extra cautious.

I do the red sections are about 1mm longer than the OEM red weave and the color is slightly redder, but it is very hard to tell unless you have them right next to each other.

I went to my first Type R meet for the fl5 . We had a great turn out and the color combo we started with was quite funny. Got to see the carbon fiber wing in person and man It looks super aggressive from the rear and is a little wider in general. I think I like it haha We had perfect weather today of around 72 at the time of the meet. We also had some tasty burgers at a nearby Joint. Enjoy
