Just take note of how you get the old one off. They twist on exactly the same so there should be no issues. It took me a few minutes to get mine at the correct angle to click in the first time, but it’s been fine.

Some people will give you crap for wanting to soften the ride of a Type R, but it it really does just take some of the edge off and I doubt it even hurts the track performance at all. It’s subtle but helps a lot, especially if you drive on crappy roads like me.

That clip alone is enough to scare me away from doing this job. I hate that thing. I took it off to add some foam to stop a rattle and I couldn’t figure out how it’s supposed to work and ended up just breaking it off and ordering a new clip. Thing was impossible to get off without destroying it.
