  1. What did you do to your FL5 today?

My son encountered loose gravel on the road yesterday. Thankfully, he wasn't injured. I'm guessing it's totaled... UPDATE - yep, totaled.
  2. Anyone else running a dual resonator delete on the FL5?

@theyza Thank you for taking the time to make that video!
  3. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Drove over a drainage grate that must have been sticking up a bit, and it apparently caught on my front lip. Tore my front bumper right off, which I then proceeded to drive over ?‍♂️. Had to reverse over it to get it. Ah... the joys of owning a lowered car with a front lip.
  4. Rear camera guide lines not aligned properly?

Ah, you're right. In your picture, the camera is closer to the side with the single white line, but the rear view shows that the angle is over towards the double white lines. This is strange.
  5. Rear camera guide lines not aligned properly?

I assume it's because the rear camera is off to the side slightly?
  6. Low Speed Wheel Squeaking Noise

I took my car to the dealership again, and this time they noticed scratch (I think he called it "chatter") marks on the rear rotors: I had to get new rear rotors since there wasn't enough of them left after the previous resurfacing. I've been driving around for several days now, and the...
  7. Low Speed Wheel Squeaking Noise

I was due for new front pads, so I had those replaced on my last visit along with rotor resurfacing. The squeaking stopped for a few days, then came back again. It seems intermittent now. They didn't mention wheel bearings during any of the appointments.
  8. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Copied many other forum members and got Enkei Triumph wheels installed today. 18x9.5 +45 with 265/35 Michelin PS4 tires. I'm very happy with how it looks for how relatively cheap the wheels were (coming from an FK8 where I had Titan7 wheels). I was using wheel spacers with the stock rims, but...
  9. What did you do to your FL5 today?

My son took my FL5 to a car meet and met up with other Civics afterwards for a quick photo shoot:
  10. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Very cool (literally)! How was the install?
  11. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Installed the RSplitters front splitter. I picked this splitter because: The last one I had was too fragile and broke too easily... this one is solid, made out of HDPE. This one is relatively thin (hopefully less scraping on driveways). It uses the factory fastener holes (no drilling).
  12. Low Speed Wheel Squeaking Noise

Update - front wheel(s) are still squeaking, but now I'm having a slightly different symptom. Before, I'd have to drive around for a while before the squeaking started. Now, the squeaking starts immediately when I start driving, and it seems to lessen the longer I drive. I plan on taking it...
  13. Pops & Bangs In FL5 Type R & Integra Type S | Hondata FlashPro Manager Latest Feature

Another thing it could be... I've noticed that you need to drive the car around for a few minutes before the pop 'n bangs kick in. I assume the car needs warmed up to a min temp. So, if you just started driving, put it into +R mode and expected pops right away... you might just need to wait...
  14. Low Speed Wheel Squeaking Noise

I can't believe I've been having this issue off and on for almost a year now. I took my car into a different Honda dealership (First Texas Honda) to address a check engine light, but I also had them look at the squeaking noise issue. It turns out that my front right brake caliper was leaking...
  15. Phearable Tune Update

I requested the pops & bangs feature when I ordered the Phearable tune... I only noticed a difference with that feature between the two updates. More details in my post here.
  16. Phearable Tune Update

When I purchased it, I got the Phearable tune file on January 30th. I got an updated file from them on March 2nd, but nothing else since then.
  17. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

I wish I knew. Between all of our family members' cars and different people driving the Type R, it's hard to trace down by looking at past purchases.
  18. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

Nice. If you get a chance, can you post a picture of that specific coupler?
  19. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

Just got an update from the dealership, and @mbaapk was right! Turns out there was too much water in the gas. They suspect this was causing the latest codes, especially the cylinder 1 & 4 misfires. They're going to drain and re-fill.
  20. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

Unfortunately, no update. The car has been at the dealership (First Texas Honda) since the 13th, and they still weren't sure what was the throwing the codes as of 2 days ago. I'll be sure to post updates here once they (hopefully) figure it out.
