Also, I should have taken pictures/video today, but I pulled my plugs, and stuck a borescope into all four cylinders today. The car was sounding different, and I believe I've resolved that to a difference in resonance between stainless steel and titanium. The exhaust sounds different ever since replacing the Remark front pipe from the original titanium to the new stainless replacement. Happy to report that the cylinders, valves, and pistons look fantastic. The factory crosshatch is clearly visible, and in excellent condition. I did notice carbon deposits on the stems of my intake valves, which means it's time to invest in some catch cans!
Any thoughts on the new exhaust sound since going to the SS front pipe? Did it impact the sound of the turbo spool down for you at all?

Any thoughts on the new exhaust sound since going to the SS front pipe? Did it impact the sound of the turbo spool down for you at all?
No, I can still hear the turbo just fine, but it has a different type of "throat" to it. It's hard to explain.

Gotcha, thank you! I never had the Ti frontpipe on mine, I bought my Remark Ti from someone who had put just a few hundred miles on it and I was given the brand new SS frontpipe with it as his Ti pipe had failed. So I never got to experience the full Ti system and have wondered about the sound difference.

Yes the resonant frequencies from titanium are different from stainless. So the sound will be slightly different.

Was watching the Spoon FL5 video of their 25 hours of Thunderhill race, and they showed the front knuckle and control arm, and all exposed rubber wrapped in gold tape and what looks to be metal zip ties (same as what I do). Thought was interesting and thought of you.

It looks like they may have used mechanics wire to hold the tape on!

Did a little fuel line mod today! Managed to get a quadruple taper! .073-.076-.078-60° countersink to 82° countersink. Needle file deburr in the smallest sections, then polished the out lip to 1500 grit @Jester04 will be the guinea pig!
