Ive noticed that Canada got quite a few of these, I wonder if they are allocating them here more due to demand and tariff situation.

Yeah, noticed that too. The VIN numbers for MY25 coming in are in the low to mid 200s. Considering what was rumoured previously (546), we definitely got more than that.

At vin 7500 and likely more batch, that's not limited production anymore. Duh

I don't think the CTR was ever marketed, at least by Honda, as a limited production vehicle. Lots of folks on Reddit love to talk about the car like it was limited, but IMO that was to justify in their own mind for the reason behind the mark up they paid.

The 10th gen run of CTRs from 2017-2021 produced nearly 50k units to the USA, and that was with a shutdown of production from COVID. Anyone who pays attention would know the CTR platform is not a limited production vehicle

I know the 2026 has already been proven to exist but man it seems really weird to still be pumping out 2025s at this point.
Right? I just picked up my 2025 Rallye Red FL5 *6640. Don’t really mind it wasn’t a 2026 since no price change to msrp.

It was actually just under 22k units for the US. Not sure what term to use for a model that was not mass produced.

"A refresh for the 2020 model year added the Honda Sensing™ suite of safety and driver assistive technologies, along with a retuned and faster reacting Adaptive Damper System. Additional refinements included stiffer bushings in the rear for the lower B-arm, lower-friction ball joints result in sharper steering feel for better control, and two-piece brake rotors with more fade-resistant brake pads. As of December 31, 2021, 21,424 Civic Type Rs were sold in the United States since June 2017."

Sorry, you are correct, I meant global units by 50k not US only.

The car has the FL5 specific production badge. This is not a limited edition car by any means but I consider it a limited production or low production model maybe a better term.

Fk8 run was around 4000 units a year and so are MY23 and MY24. MY25 seems to be still going and will be way above the typical average. The VIN 5k to 7500 came off in July to Sep. Maybe the end of euro delivery in July has to do with extra capacity to bump more to US and Canada.
