CarbonSixthElement pieces finally came after a month and half wait! The front piece is in glossy finish while the rear piece is in matte. The reason why I did this is because I also have the Mugen steering wheel that I've yet to put on and it has the top and bottom carbon fiber in matte, and then... I have the J's Racing steering wheel trim piece coming hopefully soon but thats in gloss finish. So itll be a combo of both so it makes sense to do a combo of these trim pieces as well. And 2nd, the rear already looks dull so a carbon fiber piece in Gloss finish will poke out, out of the ordinary so matte finish will blend in the back seat area. And lastly, it is accompanied by the Feel's shift pattern badge which i had previously in my FA5.

Swapped the shift boot to alcantara black. Bought a jdm shift boot but turns out it doesnt fit usdm lol in summary there were differences between the two so I ended up tearing it apart and swapping the boot to the usdm plastic base to fit.

its weighted so it def feels nice. its also like the shift knob i have in my legacy, also weighted cf similar shape too. shape feels good in the hand. like natural

FEEL'S vs Spoon oil cap
My Feels cap finally came in after months of waiting that I dont even remember which type it is. But as I suspected, it is shaped extremely similar to the Spoon cap to the point where I think its from the same manufacturer. The differences between the two are that the Feels gear shape design on top is slightly larger than Spoon's and the colorful reflection from the Spoon cap is shinier than FEEL'S. And yes it fits FL5! when it says it doesnt.

Its good, although i havent driven my civic at all. Only has 600 miles since I got it back in late march and now its hibernating cuz winter. Havent even gotten its first oil change yet lol. But the brace is good. I mean street driving youre not going to feel thaat much of a difference but its like another oem+ item that I do like my subarus

I have a long history with that DC2 in the showroom. I’d post some pics but I enjoy this thread and don’t want to hijack it. Scott Z is a great guy, it’s always a pleasure dealing with him soaking up his knowledge
