Hi Everyone, I figure I do a progression build guide just so I can log my own changes to my car. I bought the car used earlier this year from a friends dealership. I originally had a deposit down for over a year on an Apex Blue Integra Type S but that "deal" fell through when they wanted $14.4k of mandatory addons at a local Acura dealership. It would have been $89k after taxes and there's no way I'm paying that for an Integra. Feeling defeated, I left, they wouldn't budge even when I'd say I would do $5k over sticker price was the max. Later that week, my friend who started his own used car dealership got a trade in on a CW 2024 and posted a one photo of it in our group chat.

I actually wanted a Type R before in championship white and didn't really think I'd have an opportunity to get one. Now the chance presented itself and I messaged my friend right away telling him I wanted it. I bought the car and got the money ready based on the one photo. My friend gave me a trade in value on my 2018 Golf R that I was happy with and a week later I went to go pick up the keys. As my friend was getting the paperwork ready, he gave me the keys and said I really should test drive the car just in case. I already knew I wanted it but I drove it for two block and came back, "let's get the paperwork done!"

The car was already lowered on Swift springs and had some PPF done to the car by the previous owner. I'm going to try breaking up these changes in different posts. I think the first thing I changed was adding 20mm spacers all around to flush out the wheels

I added a teardrop shaped shift knob that I originally bought a long time before getting the car. Original plan was it was to be the first mod in the ITS but that didn't happen but luckily I was able to still use it.

Forgot to mention, I also run two kids seats in the back of this car.

My mods started off slow, wanted to enjoy the car a bit and the plan was to do some changes over the course of a year or two. I just wanted to photograph the car as much as I could and just enjoy it.

I always knew I wanted a front lip on the car but didn't want to spend the big $$$$ on an Exceed or Aimgain front lip as I didn't know if it would get destroyed. So I looked around online a bit and decided on the Aeroflow Dynamics v2 front lip. I had my friends shop paint it too.

Took some shots with my friends NSX.

I believe at this time I also added the PRL intake for swoosh swoosh noises. I also added the DE5 suspension module to soften the ride up. However I found the stock FL5 suspension comfortable already as I had KW Clubsports previously in my Golf R and that was pretty firm.

From September onwards. More parts were ordered and changes made. Earlier in the summer, I ordered TE37 from Japan. My first set of TEs I've ever had. Originally was debating between these and CE28 but I ran multispoke JDM wheels on the golf r and wanted something easier to clean. I wasn't expecting the wheels to arrive till November but they came earlier in September so I figured I run them for a few months before Fall.

I also ordered the Mugen side skirts and rear spats and paired it up with my current front lip.

Was looking at the Blitz Rear gurney flap for the rear spoiler and found a replica carbon one from Bayson R that was half the price.

By this point, I had my friend PPF all my doors and fix the PPF on the front end of the car. I had the stock side skirts PPF'd but that didn't last long as I had the Mugen Kit installed. Over the past few months, my Aeroflow Dynamics front lip was starting to see better days. I scrape the lip a lot as the lip comes out a few inches to the front of the car and as a 3 piece lip, the sides are starting to sag. I have some changes for next year for the front of the car so looking forward to a different look.

The TE's are off the car for now and I am running my friends Superspeed RF06RR wheels on winter tires for the winter. And that is how the car currently sits.

I also bought a friends Apexi N1 exhaust from his DE5 and had to get the tips shortened to fit the FL5 as it stuck out quite a bit from the back and looked quite comical. You can see how much it sticks out in this photo but now it looks normal again, I just haven't taken any shots of it yet. Also I had the roof wrapped black with colored PPF. I have a seasucker monkey bars for my roof box which my friend is going to rewrap for me.

I changed out my teardrop shift knob for a Tears from The House of Capulet shiftknob from Lonely Driver Company. Something a bit more unique. Loving it so far
