CBSWhere did you hear that from?
i would speculate this has more to do with the Toyota battery deal than anything Type R related
10k immediately and a low mileage/stock/clean example down the road in 15 years 6 figures plusso how much does our FL5s value go up once it’s a sure thing they are done making the last ICE Type R?

I would be tempted to get a manual mk5 supra or c7 zo6 for sureSold![]()
They've made 50k of these cars, and a TON of people thought these were investments. Stock low mileage examples in 15yrs won't even be remotely rare.10k immediately and a low mileage/stock/clean example down the road in 15 years 6 figures plus
No way there's more fl5s produced in 3 years than the fk8 5 year run.The badge numbers aren't the production numberThey've made 50k of these cars, and a TON of people thought these were investments. Stock low mileage examples in 15yrs won't even be remotely rare.
The only value in the FL5 is to enjoy the hell out of it now.
It's 15% now, not 25%, but probably still too high for them to bother importing FL5s. Even if they get an exemption for US-made parts like engine, it's still way too high for them to make any money on it.Its the hybrids to avoiding the 25 percent tariffs.I can't imagine them still producing the type r at a 25 percent hit,for only for the usa market. Agreed. I just sold my Z4M Coupe for what I paid for 16 years ago and they only built 1,815 cars for the North American market! I would be extremely happy if my FL5 only loses $20k in 15 years from now! They've made 50k of these cars, and a TON of people thought these were investments.
