Small world! I used to have speed bleeders on a few of my Miatas and older Si. I liked them but I had a problem with them getting difficult to turn after a couple of bleeds. I may have been using them wrong or something. Or they need replaced every so often.

I spent almost 7 years at vmware (2011-2018). It’s sad to see what has become of it.

Is anyone running speed bleeders? I haven’t checked to see if they have one that fits but they are great for one person brake fluid changes.
I don't but I have been thinking about getting some Stahlbus
https://www.stahlbus-us.com/bleeding-system/bleeder-valves/conical-sealing-standardtype/

similar concept as speed bleeders but much higher quality and a better concept. Its got 2 parts to the valve so you just screw one part in and that stays in the caliper and then the top part is what you undo to bleed. Not cheap but seem super nice and would be the best thing to have if you are track side and for some reason need a bleed.

Ha I used to get that with VMware. Now Broadcom offers nothing. Except RSU. It's quite a change.

I've decided to burn up my ps4s before getting a new set of 18" wheels and tires. Might as well, already have them. Buying a speedibleeder today or tomorrow. I'm sick of my mighty vac setup.
Which Mighty Vac do you have? I love mine!

This hand operated one. I never seem to get a good vacuum with it. I've used it on several vehicles all with mixed results. I just want to try something better/different.

Planning to get wheels for the track. What's the lowest offset for 18x9.5 wheels that you can get for the track with no rubbing? Planning to run 265/35 tires.

Thanks!

You can run 275's with a +37 offset. It won't rub.

Here's a quick clip of my PB at Sebring this past weekend, I was able to put together a decent lap on my fifth session.

For context it was 90+ degree weather all day but I was able to do 6 full 20 min sessions without any hiccups, the car was perfect all day!

That track looks like it would be BRUTAL on tires! Nice drive!
