2023 CW FL5, no factory options, $4k dealer addon (floor mats, "ceramic coating", 20% tint all around, some useless stuff) for $53,900 out the door, roughly $1400 ADM (down from $15k). $4k addon worth maybe $2k, so paid $3400 over but didn't have to spend time getting tint, ceramic, ordering mats, etc. No trade. North Carolina.

Daily driver (truck and SUV for DIY and family duties). Cross-shopped Type S, CT4BW. Front seat comfort, bespoke looks, best 6mt shifter by far, and honda brand sold me. Happy to join the forum.

I got 3.49% for 48 months back in May. However I had a ~60% down payment which i'm not sure if it helped get a good rate

Yes, likely, because it is a lower risk loan for the bank. With a 60% down payment you should never be under water with the value of the car vs the value of the loan.

I just spoke with them and they mentioned the last 2 that were pre-sold did not sell at MSRP and wouldn't mention what the ADM was. Not sure if this is the same Hendrick the other guy is referring to

There are several Hendrick Honda dealerships. There's one in TN, NC, and SC at least. You'll want to clarify which. Hopping on a list of 40+ deep doesn't make a lot of sense. You likely will never see a car. You're better off employing a different strategy.

Just picked mine up at Roush Honda in Ohio. Championship White for MSRP + $2600 in mandatory accessories (PPF, all season floor mats, and car cover), which seemed completely fair and the car cover is the only item I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Been on the list for a little over a year and currently still 60+ people on the list.
