Damn you. This fourm and my willingness to buy things I probably don't really need. Has well eclipsed 25k ?
Sounds like you are ready to move up to sleeving the block, installing a stroker kit, port matching, etc. 4 Piston Racing is one place to start.

The last time I talked to Luke I ended up with a sleeved ERL k20 block and a built 163 head. If I ever have to build a motor again it's going to be a coyote in a striped out work truck lol

Picked up 2 extra take off wheels from another FL5 owner. Ended up getting a good deal on powder coating, have 2 wheels done and mounted. Waiting on the other set.

Originally wanted the ITR/NSX gunmetal wheel color however I was limited on time and wanted to get them powder coated asap. This lighter silver actually has grown on me. Once the front wheels are installed I’ll follow up with more photos.

Nice!! I’ve been thinking about doing this at some point. I’m not a fan of black wheels. This hue of silver looks great!

So believe it or not the color I chose was stealth charcoal from Prismatic Powders, I haven’t fully asked my powder coater but I’m assuming based on the metal material it would’ve needed more coats to get darker. But I’ve also seen videos of that color applied on other wheels and the complaint was it was more silver than gun metal. Either way I’m happy with the outcome as any dark gunmetal would’ve been to close to stock. At least this silver contrasts well.

PRL did such a nice job as always especially on the Red Ano I actually like the red better in person than the pictures Such a nice piece.
It’s amazing how some of the simplest things in life can be so gratifying.

Man, you're lucky that experts like myself are here to help you.
You can't just slap these parts on your car and drive away with all your newfound power, you need to tune for them. I recommend contacting Jester immediately. :p

Thank you so much for your guidance ?
But part of this adventure is living on the edge. Although I still might have to invest in some street stickies so I can master those stoppies safely . Next big mod might be some wheelie bars so I can practice my parade wave. I just need to figure out how to mount it to the front bumper ?

? Hey guys, I haven’t been on here in a minute! But recently I crossed over 15k miles and went for my 3rd oil change and first transmission fluid service.

I was beginning to hear a faint humming vibration noise during cold starts while making full lock left/right turns out the parking deck. The sound would go away after the 3rd or 4th turn and never come back unless the car sat for a while and was cold again. I suspected it was the lsd and read on several platforms about the same issue resolving after adding friction modifiers.

Well, glad to report that the new transmission fluids worked! Kinda irritated that we didn’t get to swap the fluid out sooner before the noise even started up but the service tech convinced us that it was too early and didn’t need to be done till 30k ?

Other than that, my FL5’s still going strong ? It’s nice to see and catch up on what everyone has done to their cars here, cheers!

Hey all, went off the deep end. Have Kuro+, Full Face High Pressure Fuel Pump, Hondata injectors, etc. on the way. I am fairly confident that I will do the install myself, but am curious if there are any recommendations for outstanding shops in the Western PA / Ohio areas?

Can't help on shops, but make sure you follow the instructions to a T. And definitely get a crows foot for the fuel pipe. It will make life a lot easier.

Hey man, remember when you offered to let me drive your car but I was too tired? Can I change my mind?

That's gonna be insane!! Perfect first car for your daughter when she gets her license ?.
