I no problem. I should also mention, in case your tuner hasn't told you, you most likely won't be able to run e85 and receive full power without mixing gasoline. I know on my current build I start losing power above E50 because the fuel system just can't keep up. This is something I'm waiting on...
I run 570whp with a fully upgraded fuel system and don't have anything like that hangar, nor have I had issues using e85. I also run e85 on my s2000 and haven't had any issues there even with a walbro 450 and stock sock.
Is there truth to what the video says, maybe, I honestly don't know. But...
I'd have to agree on going with something that doesn't use slip fits. Every issue on awe is blamed on incorrect install by their customer service. If they used flanges then they would no longer be able to use this excuse to dismiss customer concerns like they do.
6 months have passed since I posted this and things are still going great. I've since swapped out the Apexi Exhaust for a Fujitsubo and will probably be swapping the 1530cc injectors for the new Hondata 2000cc injectors.
Fingers crossed everything stays running well. The car is a blast to drive...
No quirks really. Just take your time. Make sure you have a 3 or 4 point engine holder, chain, and bolt that is strong enough to hold the engine up.
Obviously drain the trans oil and have fluid to refill it with.
I did my clutch 6 months ago and it was a simple job on quick jacks. Spent a day...
I also have this exhaust but I can't say I have experienced any drone. Counter to your situation though, I have a TSP downpipe. So maybe that makes a difference?
I ran 19" Michelin Alpin last winter and they were just fine. I did get new cheap rims from tire rack as well. The wheels are a little bit more narrow than stock at 8.5" wide. Tires are 245/35R19.
I have the RV6 rear arms and can say they didn't add noise for me. However, they have made the ride unbearable for all of my passengers.
Every person who has ridden in my car has complained since I installed them. They say that it is too rough and they feel like their insides are being...
According to DRob, over 600whp on the RV6 will potentially cause catastrophic failure. So he stops it around the 570whp mark. My car has almost the same build and he did the same thing for me.
I posted the Fujitsubo exhaust highway video on YouTube. Not sure how long it will take before it's searchable. It's not the most interesting video, but I think the volume levels from in the cabin are pretty accurate.
Yeah. Not necessary unless you want to have them out there for others. I took some videos during my test drive that I will upload to my YouTube channel in case anyone else wants an idea of the sound levels.
I will say it is surprising how overall quiet the system is, despite having 2.75"...
Installed my Fujitsubo exhaust today. Removed the Apexi, which I really liked, but my wife hated. I would describe the audio levels of the Fujitsubo as OEM+. On the highway I'm there is little to no exhaust note. If I am getting on the car, I think I hear more engine noise than exhaust noise...
Yeah I am aware. I took the car to a local "performance" shop with an in ground rack. That's who trash talked the car and me, while also doing the alignment wrong.
In regards to the axle seal comment, I removed my axles when I did my springs. Now I was also doing a clutch at the same time, so I had to remove them, but honestly for how involved the shock removal is anyway, pulling the axles was no big deal.
