Just ordered this PRL CF steering wheel with leather. Almost went with suede but my mitts get sweaty sometimes and didn’t want it looking ugly in 6 months. Plus my stock leather wheel I have no problem with grip and still looks like new after over a year and a half although only about 4800 miles.
Anyway can’t wait to have it installed 👍🏻

Great looking wheel! Could you please do me one favor when you're installing the new wheel? Could you please take a picture of the old wheel superimpose on top of the new wheel? Everyone keep saying that a flat bottom wheel provides added space, but I'm having trouble understanding how a flat bottom wheel will be able provide that added clearance when it's reusing the same OE bottom trim piece? Thanks

I think I’m going to have it installed since I heard sometimes the steering wheel can be off to one side or the other even though it’s a direct bolt on. That way if need be I can have the front end aligned at the same time I’m pretty OCD about that lol.
Maybe when it arrives I can try and take a picture for you laying it on top of the stock wheel when it’s still on the car .

They don't. A proper D wheel isn't much shorter and won't work with the OEM parts.

Somebody hit me while i was parked and left. luckily it was ppfed so the only damage was to the film and a cracked headlight tab. Unfortunately, after calling around to try to have the ppf redone everyone wants $1k just to redo the bumper! seems crazy seeing you can buy a new painted bumper from honda for $700. Decided to just live with it for now and just redo or just remove the ppf in a few years.

People SUCKS! Why not just remove the ppf yourself now? If the bumper chip up, then you can replace your bumper in the future?

Had a set of Continental 275/35/r19 Extreme Contact Sport 2's mounted. The extra sidewall helps with the ride and I can't detect any noticeable drop in performance - granted, I haven't tracked it or done any autocross. This seems like a nice alternative to the stock rubber band tires for owners that mostly street their Type Rs.

Looks good and definitely fills it up more. Are you on stock Springs?

Today I opened the box for my FL5 :)
Thanks again to @Two Step Performance for their
lightning fast shipping !
Beautiful PRL CF steering wheel the Leather with red stitched perforated leather and CF is perfection I can not find a flaw anywhere. I’m second guessing myself now though kind of wishing I went with the partial suede . The leather feels surprisingly slick. When you grip it tight it feels good though and the grooves they have in it kind of lock you in so will see when it’s on the car. The CF feels like it has more traction even though it’s smoother then a baby’s butt 😆
Any imperfections that appear are just reflections it looks really good!
Can’t wait to have it installed next week!
