Yeah it was very chill and a overall good experience. Will keep you guys updated with everything. But so far just with the canned tune 93 oct from Hondata there is quite a bit more power on tap.

Wish we had more events in the Washington, D.C. area.. would love to meet the guys at hondata and get my ecu Jailbroken locally. Only option is to ship it out.

Yeah I wish they had more locations available. But for what it is worth, the car feels like a different animal. I highly suggest that you send the ECU out and enjoy the added performance.

Yes! Got the Phearable tune and I run it on Street 2 and it is awesome!

I have not played with the mapping yet but there is for sure a lot left on the table from the factory.

I really want to do the ecu unlock but not comfortable sending my ecu across the pacific ocean lol itll get lost with my luck. Plus I never got a response for shipping quite from hondata yet so I don't know how expensive shipping will be. I'm hoping and waiting for instant jailbreak.

yea I think I'm going that route. For most people who send their ECU to Hondata, which Carrier do you guys use or recommend? I'm just nervous of it getting lost.

what sensors and part of the log did you monitor to check to see how it was running. I flashed last week but been meaning to run a data log to see how it looks data wise but wasn’t sure if what all I should be looking at.

While waiting for my mods before a dyno tune at IMW, I loaded the TSP Stage 1 tune today.

HOLY SHIT.

It’s like an entirely different car now. I never had an OTS tune in any other platform make such a difference. It pulls like crazy. It’s such a difference that I panicked and thought I’d be running too lean or overboosting… nope, checked all the sensors and ran a log. Healthy as an ox (I only have 1,100 miles on it).

It completely eliminated the rev hang. Map 1 is nuts; constantly losing traction in 1st and 2nd. Switched to Map 2 which decreases boost in the lower gears (press and hold cruise control switch up or down to switch maps) and makes it more drivable in lower gears if you go WOT.

I can only imagine how the car will react when I get all my mods installed and get it dyno tuned. Entirely happy with the power level (based on my butt dyno) with the TSP1 tune, drop in Sprint filter, and titanium turbo inlet, so the rest of the mods and a dyno tune will make it nuts.

Very satisfied with the OTS tune from TSP. It’s not like the old Cobb OTS tunes for the Subaru guys that can harm your engine. Derek did a hell of a job with this OTS tune!

Used UPS to ship it and Hondata sent it back via FedEx. No issues with either carrier.
