Has anyone had luck recently finding a CTR at MSRP?

Getting tired of hearing the justification that it's a specialty car and hard to find.

I'm in Oklahoma and willing to travel, but 6-10k over is hard to swallow.

You might want to specify how far you are willing to travel. You could also find one at MSRP and ship it. In the end it would still be cheaper than dealing with huge markups.

See if you can find people on this forum or in your area and ask for how much they paid. Having a point of reference is a great way to negotiate with a dealer

Don't buy in Washington State. The dealers are all asking 5-15K markup.

Well, I actually found a dealership in nebraska with no real mark up. They required that I get a protection plan, but its actually a very good, useful protection plan. Not just scotch guard and floormats for 1k. it'll be just shy of 49k out the door.

I had to deal with a dealership via phone in Mississippi and had my 2025 CW FL5 shipped to me in south Florida. Ended up paying $47,500 (MSRP) plus $33 in fees and $500 shipping.

So $48,033 to my door in October of 2024.

It took about 6 weeks of negotiating though.

They finally called on the last day of October saying they needed one more sale to reach a monthly goal and if I would e-sign the papers, they would sell it for MSRP that day.

Location and timing can be a major factor. In Upstate NY they are not heavily sought after. I got mine for $1200 under MSRP and negotiated them to throw in the high wall floor mats.

Honda East in Cincinnati does MSRP with no add-ons. PM me if you want my sales person's contact info.

Can confirm payed 5k over for my black 2025. Honda Lynwood. Timing worked out well, I was insistent on Black and they had one ready.

Yeah sometimes it is worth pulling the trigger for the spec you want. I over paid but ended up getting forged wheels, Alcantara steering wheel among other accessories.

We just bought ours last weekend, and got it for MSRP in the DFW area. Honda cars of Rockwall to be exact. I called and shopped every local dealer… even the dealer we got the fk8 from (which we still have) That we service at all the time… would not budge off of a markup.

But Honda Rockwall, responded to texts and calls, and offered the car as a Black Friday special with tint, LoJack, and appearance protection package included… but that I would only pay for tint and the other two would be free. I was busy that morning and didn’t respond quickly, and I guess they sensed I would walk… so they came back before I could reply… that they would included all add ons for free and I would pay MSRP plus TTL.

Deal.

Was in there the next day getting it all done. Couldn’t be happier with the custom service and no nonsense sale.

They still had a boost blue on the floor last weekend when we left with a championship white.

Winter is the best time to buy, at least up north. they tried adding ceramic and door edge guards...I told him when they are ready to move forward with OUT those adds let me know...they did and I bought at MSRP which was fine with me. Why? If I can't afford $47k....I can't afford $44k. LOL
