How was the install for you? I ordered from them and it seemed to be cut too small, and the loop for the speaker was cut and different thicknesses at the split.
Buying slightly under msrp @ 46, 846, plus they tacked on a $1900 protection package that was non-negotiable, but its actually a very good protection package, which Ill post here. He said it was honored anywhere, so it didnt matter that I bought out of state. Hope to not have to test that...
Thank you, this is a lot of good info. Ive driven manual a number of years, though not lately, and was never taught or had even heard about heel-toe before recently. Its a skill Ill have to work to develop. I want to drive this the way it deserves to be driven!
Is there a preferred throttle...
Thank you, i appreciate the breakdown. Kind of makes me grateful the drive is long and basically straight. Itll let me get to the fun faster when I'm home!
In terms of varying the rpms, did you find it better to turn off rev matching?
Will be picking up the CTR soon and the drive home from the dealership is about 440mi.
Of course I'll avoid going over 3500 rpm and cruise control, but is there any other advice I need for such a long initial drive?
Well, I actually found a dealership in nebraska with no real mark up. They required that I get a protection plan, but its actually a very good, useful protection plan. Not just scotch guard and floormats for 1k. it'll be just shy of 49k out the door.
Has anyone had luck recently finding a CTR at MSRP?
Getting tired of hearing the justification that it's a specialty car and hard to find.
I'm in Oklahoma and willing to travel, but 6-10k over is hard to swallow.
