So I just hit 250 miles and while driving to work this morning I can feel and hear a very small clunk/tapping noise when coasting , no acceleration at very low speeds. I could feel it a bit also on my foot. When I accelerate its gone and when I slow down and get to a low speed it was felt again. Coming from drivers side front. Any idea's ? I at first thought it was maybe a rock or nail in the tire but its not.

I've been hearing the same noise on the driver side, maybe from the wheel? I took a look at it and tried to find any rocks stuck since that's a common issue, but there were no rocks.

The wastegate is pretty loud and makes a high-pitched noise when coasting.

I’m coming from a type s so I know the waste gate issues . This is different though . I will say I also have a squeak coming from that area also but so did my type s . This is more of tapping feel off throttle only at very low speeds . I can even feel it on my foot but when I speed up it goes away .

I'm not sure; it could be a couple of things, such as rocks in the heat shield, but a clunk is different than a high-pitched noise like rocks. If it's a big concern, then maybe the dealer should look at it.

I'd check the engine compartment under-tray fasteners. I've not experienced a problem with my FL5, but my son's FK8 fasteners tend to go missing. I keep a set of spares for his car.

I just put the car on a lift at a local shop and nothing was visibly loose , let the mechanic take a quick ride and he heard the issue also . A small tapping off throttle can be felt through the floor and brake pedal at around 20-25mph. I guess I’ll have to take it to honda .
