Having a issue and seeing if anyone can point me in the right direction. Started my car this morning and it was running zero issues. Plugged in flashpro to Hondata on my laptop to check my recent tune for canflex. When I clicked the mods tab the car threw all these codes and will not start. I disconnected the battery for about 2 hours and did the dealer hard reset and still nothing. Hondata is up to date with newest software as well. Ecu will not connect to Hondata at all now. I was not uploading a tune just literally looking at my mods tab only. The fuse box is making a clicking noise now and maybe it’s a relay?

Oof. Hard to say for sure on a tuned ECU, especially when the tool won’t connect. I’ve been amazed how many codes get thrown when the voltage is even slightly off so I’d start by checking or even swapping the battery, confirming you have no corrosion on the terminals, all grounds look good, etc. Same with the connection to the ECU itself.

If none of that works I’d reach out to Hondata to see if any of their customers have experienced the same. Regardless, they may have some tricks to correct it and they’re somewhat incentivized to diagnose so it doesn’t give the impression their tune caused it.

Best case: It’s a voltage issue or some other non-issue.

Next best: you have to ship it back to Hondata for a reflash.

Worst case: Replacement ECUs are several hundred bucks ($5-600 sounds familiar) for a stock replacement.

Just curious, did you get this resolved, OP?
