On long road trips just driving down the highway, mine will lose a bar and then regain it usually when the tank is close to full. Annoyed me for a bit but now I just live with this quirk.
'23 Si on Hondata 240 CARB. Stock otherwise. Added another 870 miles. Total tuned miles of 3,030. Still runs well. If anyone uploads this tune to their Si with Hondata Mode enabled, there is a noticeable difference between Normal and Sport. The extra torque that Hondata programs into Sport...
Resurrecting the thread for anyone researching tunes. '23 Si on Hondata 240 CARB. Stock otherwise. Added 810 miles since my last update. Total tuned miles of 2,160. No issues thus far. Still enjoying it!
That sort of seems to describe the Si, but then the sound feels smoothed over almost like it's an old NES game. It didn't really annoy me, but I was bored one day and decided to unplug the module. No regrets but I will say that in spirited driving through the canyons, it's a bit too quiet now...
OP, did you resolve the issue? I know you're looking for non-Si replies, but something's for sure amiss. '23 Si on the Hondata 240 CARB tune here, and overall MPG is the same as before. I've also reached a best highway MPG of 41 MPG after tuning as documented in my Fuelly log. Hope your...
Agreed. If you're not going crazy -- tune plus maybe a couple of other small mods -- then you should be ok. gtman has an equivalent thread over on CivicX, and reliability amongst owners has been good. It's what swayed my wife and me to tune her 10G EX and my 11G Si.
We're both on Hondata...
Added 270 more miles to the Si, bringing my total to a pretty tame 1,350 tuned miles (Hondata CARB 240). Still enjoying it and pretty much just drive around in Sport for the full beans. My average MPG post-tune is 33.9 MPG vs. pre-tune 31.4 MPG. Not too shabby, considering the extra power...
I know this 11G tuning thread is not active but giving an update for those researching different tunes. Added 780 more miles on the Hondata 240 CARB tune. That’s 1,080 miles on this tune. (I only drive 5k miles/year.) All good so far. Random: best tuned hand-calculated MPG of 41.0 on 91 octane...
Added another 280 miles on the Hondata 240 CARB tune, so that’s 300 total miles. Not much compared to others mileage-wise but still good thus far.
The extra punch is appreciated and is what the Si should’ve felt like in the first place. The only changes I made before uploading the tune were...
I ended up getting pretty bad COVID so haven't been able to do much of anything. But I did drive 10 miles to the pharmacy to pick up some meds. The weather was a nice 66F compared to 95F when I first installed the tune. This was a nice gauge of how the tune impacted the car, and it ABSOLUTELY...
From reading and researching, the OTS Hondata tunes are very safe, and as gtman said in one of his posts on the CivicX forum, you upload it and forget about it. That's kind of what I wanted: upload, have fun, and don't really worry about it after. And since I am in CA, I wanted something that...

Rear turn signal bulbs aren’t LED. 3rd brake light unit is LED. I put in LEDs for my backup lights and trunk light that I got off Amazon. Nothing fancy and no issues at all. Thought about putting in LEDs for the rear turn signals but haven’t bothered yet.
‘23 Si bought new: averaging 33.2 with a best of 38.6. I’ll take it. ? This is calculated via the tripmeter and gas pump gallons. The gauge readout has been optimistic for me.
