I've seen quite a few ads on alibaba exhausts and was wondering if anyone has any experience or is currently running one of their exhausts in their setup. I was aware that valvetronic was using alibaba exhausts in the pasts but i'm pretty sure they switched ever since they got exposed.

Curious about the fitment and sound quality as they are a lot cheaper than all other available exhausts.

Knowing how terrible most stuff is from there expect that even if the pic is ok you are going to likely get a shit product.

Don't be surprised if you get a desk display exhaust for $1000. :D

Yeah and the reviews have all been relatively positive, so curious to see if any type R owners have done the same.

Also seen a lot of them rock alibaba wheels but thats something I would rather not trust lol

My friend bought forged wheels off alibaba for his BMW.

like many I was skeptical, but they look pretty good and the quality seems good. I wouldn’t straight up assume things are going to be trash off alibaba, just do your research on the seller/vendor. Most stuff is made in china in these same factories

Alibaba has alot of scams on it but also alot of quality, the very same suppliers that some reputable brands use sell the same products that can be bought directly from Alibaba.

Just have to be careful and verify the seller, its always best to do your research on the seller and then send an inquiry than just place an order right away. As long as their QC is up to scratch you pretty much have nothing to worry about. For the verified sellers even their after-sales service is good.

Don't forget even Mugen's carbon fibre comes from China.

In many cases a higher quality product can be bought from China. China is actively working to shed its "cheap" product image because they're trying to become the industrial and engineering hub of the world.

Yeah will defintely look into it. I just can't justify paying so much money for a catback. Thats why I wanted to see if anyone had bought an exhaust from alibaba. But if other decent sized companies are using their products, it must be pretty decent.

buying unknown mission critical stuff (brakes, wheels, steering) from Alibaba is insane.

cosmetic and non-safety stuff like exhaust? Hell yeah be our tester
Yeah I agree, just gotta hope exhaust fitment is okay lol
