whats even more concerning to me was before I heard this noise, I did a U-turn entering with some speed, and then I heard a grinding noise. I pulled over and checked everything, nothing came off, or could see any damage. But ever since when I full do U-turns with throttle, that buzzing noise can...
Going to my second ever track day soon and have new pads ready to go, but I keep seeing that people reccommend to change out the brake fluids.
I know people use motul and castrol SRF but I honestly don't think I will ever reach temperatures that high as I rarely track and am still new to push...
Congrats on the car :)
It rides fine right? I know theres quite a few people who switched to the FL5 coming from an M car or even porsches so to them it might be uncomfortable compared to their previous car. However, from a performance and track focused car, it rides pretty good. Never once had...
For sure! Will need to wait until next months track day until I properly test them out. But from a statistics viewpoint, it wouldn't be as good as the Type Z since the SR series aren't rated as high as Type Z and should experience brake fade sooner.
Who know's though, maybe from a street...
Adding to this thread. Got some brake pads sent out to me by Intima which is an Australian brand. I got their SR series which is supposely a street/track pad. Not sure if anyone else has tried them out or even heard of them. They have informed me that the SR series are a 600 degree celsius pad...
Hi,
Just wondering whats everyones go to brake pads that don't break the bank? Recently gotten a deal with Intima Brakes and they sent out front and rear SR pads which are just street/track pads rated to 600 degrees celsius.
I'm pretty sure they are an Australian company so not sure if anyone...
Yes the Si makes more sense. Apparently the prelude immediately sold out too in Japan, so the market for them is definitely there. I am sure Honda will play around with a sportier variant/trim for the prelude.
As much as I hate this, I also believe this. At the end of the day, they are a company that needs to make money. If slapping the type r badge makes money, then they'd do it.
But they'd need to make some serious changes to the preludes performance or else its gonna hurt the type r badge
Yes thats the plan, to get a set of 18 inch wheels as the track set and keep the stocks as a street set. Would love to just do it on 1 wheel but I do too much highway km's so I dont want to waste the tread
PRL HVI intake is defintely the most value for money! All the turbo noises and good performance gain that has been proven. I'm looking to get the matching turbo inlet sometime.
hahahah fair enough! Would've been awesome to come back to hear those turbo whooshes. I'll tell you though, fuel economy is no more since all you want to do is spool up the turbo now XD
