Picked up my CTR and I’m glad I didn’t pre purchase the ADS module as I’m really enjoying the ride in comfort and sport mode. Even R mode isn’t too bad on nice roads to be honest. Maybe the roads I’m using are pretty good quality but highway driving on comfort mode feels great
Congrats on the car :)

It rides fine right? I know theres quite a few people who switched to the FL5 coming from an M car or even porsches so to them it might be uncomfortable compared to their previous car. However, from a performance and track focused car, it rides pretty good. Never once had I thought it was uncomfortable in comfort mode.

R mode might be harsh for the roads around me though...

100%. For me it's pretty simple.
Comfort: for all street, including serious performance driving.
Sport: for track days only, unless curbs are a major factor; in which case back to comfort. (I doubt Comfort would result in slower lap times) I will be testing this.
+R: Never.

I did a Happy Lap at Queensland Raceway and I thought +R was not bad at all. Firmed up the suspension to take corners with confidence and even going over kerbs wasn't bad. Didn't feel like I lost any grip or even felt the car "jumped" off the curbs. Definitely not comfortable but there is no such thing as comfort on the track XD.

Maybe the tracks near you are a lot more curb heavy so +R might negatively impact your performance. I watched these pro japanese drivers test laps in the FL5 when it first came out and one of the drivers said the same thing about +R negatively effecting his lap time due to how stiff it came off the curbs.

And that, right there, is what's so great about having damping options..
Every driver is different. I def need some compliance (just a little bit)
You're happier (and maybe faster) with very little. 👍
