Just sharing photos of the final fitment. Thanks to all for the advice.

Tiny bit of poke at the front from the beefy sidewall of the 601s. A slightly narrower 275 would probably be perfect. Doesn’t seem to bad to me but let me know if I should be worried as it’s my first step into aftermarket wheels.

Did you ever lower the car? Any rubbing?

I didn’t. Fortunately and unfortunately it is my daily and there are already so many parking lots and driveways I’m barely getting down so I think I’ll have to wait. A few people have assumed I’ve lowered the car though which is always nice to hear. I think the setup still looks great without lowering but it’s something I’d love to do in the future for sure.

Currently saving for a Varis GT wing 😀

Thanks. I’ve gone for the V601 as well in 275/35/18. My matte black saga s plus wheels just arrived in country (18x9.5 +40) so only days to wait now.

Thanks for all the help. Based on the collective experience here and what I’ve read I’m hoping there will be no rubbing or poke.
Are these wheel specs 18x9.5 or 18x10?

camber kit + 275 should work. No camber kit needed for a 265

No camber kit needed for 18x10 +40 with a 275 either unless you are absolutely dumped. With a drop like Swift, Spoon or Eibach ProKit you should be at 2* or less of camber which is within factory spec.

Did you notice any improvements running the 275's compared to the stock 265's?

Do you have less wheel spin off the line?

Car looks real nice!

Definitely. Extra rubber plus the extra width made a noticeable improvement in grip on track.

Off the line I think it’s marginally better particularly in the dry with the v601s but it’s not hugely noticeable.

Awesome, exactly the answer I was looking for.

Looks like its time to get new tyres :)

If you're looking for the (very well regarded) Hankook RS-4 in a 275/35-18. I have just found that there are none in Oz.. Just FYI.

Good thing I was looking at Nankang AR1's :)
Fair enough. I assume you are going to run 2 sets of wheels then. Those have 80 tread wear don't they ?
My use-case is using the RS4's as a general do it-all.

Yes thats the plan, to get a set of 18 inch wheels as the track set and keep the stocks as a street set. Would love to just do it on 1 wheel but I do too much highway km's so I dont want to waste the tread
