Been saying for years that the only thing changing about the FL5 is the MSRP. The initial plan was always a 5 year run for the FL5, then maybe a limited edition.
I wonder if the HRC edition being shown at TAS is going to be a limited edition? Probably a concept like the HRC Integra but who knows

Would be interesting if it were a club sport type vehicle. Turn key race car for folks that can afford it

If they do make an actual limited edition for the US, there's a 99% chance it will take influence from both the HRC edition being shown at TAS 2026 and the Euro only S-Grade and Ultimate Edition models.

It'll definitely have some of the chassis upgrades from the HRC parts that were launched at SEMA.

At minimum it will have the usb-c ports on the center console like the rest of the newer Civics. I think at least that much we can guarantee.

Maybe they are going to release something regarding a special FL5 model at Tokyo Auto Salon? The timing is a bit strange for the 26 MY announcement.
If that were the case wouldn't they have to have the other trim's MSRP also in that press release? I think one possibility is there is still only one trim, but a range of HRC accessories/packages you can add on, and that they're going to announce that at TAS.

This is the more likely scenario, if they were adding an additional trim level it would've been included in the MSRP announcement

It's crazy to me that the FL5 has gone up so much on MSRP since launch with no improvements. Google says it launched at a $42,896+destination and now it's $46,895+destination. The car is guaranteed to have a markup too 😵💫

Alot of dealers started raising the markups again after they thought MY25 was gonna be the last year. Funny enough all they had to do was call their regional Honda NA rep and ask them what's the deal with MY26 and they would've known MY25 was never going to be the final year.

Well, they have incentive to play the clueless card as it greatly helps keep the ADM card in play…as we’ve seen.

Not sure if it was covered over the past 54 pages....but $1000 price increase and NO changes for 2026....and most likely the last year for it.
