I will admit I'm genuinely surprised. Very odd to keep making them in Japan only for the US market.

So I wonder what's holding up Honda from releasing 26' earlier. Could it have minor things changed like infotainment system? Vin registration said it's made in Japan so doesn't look like factory shift.

japans tariff was ludicrous too
Not just tariffs but the Yen is highly inflated and doesn't have a good forecast because its only going to go up based off from current projections.

Isn't a high dollar to yen exchange rate a good thing for japanese production? It means they can pay local workers/suppliers more.
