To be fair. Never had an issue in low light reversing in the fk8 but my de5 has full led and wow it is freaking bright when I go into reverse!

It will be interesting to see what the fate of the FL5 Type R is here in N America. Because Honda hasn’t announced anything this late, I wonder if it could be something similar to the Integra Type R? It was stopped for a year (because of the S2000 launch??… perhaps similar with the Prelude??) only to return for a couple years with Phoenix yellow and a few tweaks. Maybe we’ll see the FL5 again as a 2027 model?!?!

No I don’t think that would be the case. They need to support the car for 10 years after the last production year.
S2000 parts was produced up to 2019. The discontinued aspect is that inventory has sold out on some parts.

I got my MY2025 Type R in January 6th of 2025. I’m not really worried I just thought they would at least add the updated infotainment and USB-C charging at this point.

There is no infotainment update. All 9 inch displays in civics (including CTR) moved to the A11 model, 2026 civics with 9 inch displays also have the A11 model.

The only change for the A11 model over the older A02 model is the addition of new telematics to support non-JDM civic hybrid battery information.

If you have a 2025 CTR- you have the latest civic 9 inch infotainment which should perform identical to pre-2025 infotainment.
