Still nothing from Honda. But MotorTrend updated their 2026 Type R page from "Coming Soon" to a writeup of what they are expecting for 2026 (price and other changes). So not sure if they got something on the side from Honda, but there's that lol

Maybe? But that's been the price of the 25 for a while, I'd be surprised if the 26 (if/when it comes out) would only be that much. I think it's likely to be 48+

Likely 27 or 28 Accord Hybrid. Honda says it is a midsize not C-class, so def not Civic.

This isn't surprising, Honda has been pushing new Hybrid tech with the Accord in China paired with Dongfeng. China got a facelifted plug in hybrid accord in 2024. They planned a plug in hybrid accord with 3.0l for 2025 but never delivered it. This may be it.
