Speaking of civic si. Does anyone here have both si and type r? Or plan to have both. I am getting a type r but I really want a si for daily commute. Maybe I am doing it wrong and just have the type r to daily. I honestly love both the si and type r. Also is there a tracker for si? Hard to find an orange one.
I had a 23 Si and the FK8. They are very similar cars. Of course, the Type R is a different animal. I would say the Si makes for a great daily but so does the Type R. I'd honestly consider a different platform for a daily and get the FL5, but that's just me.

I can only speak based on patterns in South Florida, but sitting on last year's model will only have a minor effect at best on the FL5 Type R prices. A dealership that had an ADM isn't going to suddenly let it go for MSRP because they have 1 of the new model year allocated. In South Florida, only 1 dealership has had 3 at a time sit on their lot for more than 2 weeks (Honda of Aventura.) Based on their location, they really aren't incentivized to lower their ADM (last I checked it was 15k over.) These cars bring in so much foot traffic, that they almost pay for themselves in new cars that were otherwise sold. Many a Civic Si and Civic Sport have been sold because someone heard my dealership had a Type R on the lot, but the interested party couldn't afford it and bought something they could afford.

Other States might be open to pricing adjustments because they now have the "old" model. But we mustn't forget, these things are still relatively rare and even the top dealerships only get 1 or 2 every 2-3 months.

Just for information purposes, my dealership has received a total of 9 2023 FL5 Type Rs. One of those 9 is still in transit. The next one we receive will be a 2024. By this time in the FK8s lifespan we had sold almost 5 times that amount.
Have you heard anything about how many DE5 integras are being produced? Thanks

Not exact numbers, but they’re being produced in slightly lower numbers than the Civic Sport Touring. The DE5 is actually doing better than Acura anticipated. They do sit on lots for a while though

2024 are scheduled to arrive late November, only difference between MY 23 and MY 24 will be the MSRP. Unsure how much it will go up by but expect anywhere between $300-$500.
You f'in rock man. Thanks for the info. I was going to wait for the '24s since we are late in the MY and I would have regrets if there were improvements, but an opportunity presented itself to get a '23. Glad I jumped on it.

Anyone interested in a Integra Type S at MSRP in the Maryland area? Don't need the allocation anymore.
What tipped the scales for you to go FL5 over DE5?

I always knew I was going to get the FL5. Loved it since the reveal. The ITS was revealed and I called a few dealers and was able to score this after the 3rd dealer. I put the deposit just in case I changed my mind. No such luck!

Not sure if anyone’s still looking but my dealership got their BB FL5 in. Allegedly it was sold to some guy in Cali but I just got word it’s available. Has even done the PDI yet.
Let me know if you're interested. Don’t contact the dealership directly. As far as the internet team is aware it’s still sold.

The dealership I bought my CW Type R has another CW available for 10k markup if anybody is interested. It’s sitting in their showroom right now. Mike Smith Honda in Beaumont Tx. Ask for Carlous. I’ve already bought 5 vehicles through her. Very nice lady.

My dealership has 7 FL5s in transit at the moment. Every color except Red is available, if any of you are interested hit me up. There's a good chance one or two of these bad boys will go for MSRP btw.

Keep us posted on that MSRP.

I had a feeling this was going to happen. Just in the last few weeks deals at MSRP and lots under 5K are popping up.

MSRP will only happen, if multiple FL5s touch the dealer lot unsold and if the buyer comes in and is ready to leave in the car.

2 of our 7 were just sold in the last hour
