All the power to ya if you can get one at MSRP, but after going through the process of buying 2 FL5s in the last month, 5k over seems to be the best deals I've seen.

This differs for everyone, but at some point I think it's important to factor the cost of your time and how bad you want the car. If you can wait and you don't mind spending the time, great... I however do not have the patience for that and my excitement of owning the car and driving it have erased any negative feelings I have about paying over MSRP.

This is the sentiment of most, as long as the markup isn’t crazy, they’re not really interested in holding out much longer.

Speaking of civic si. Does anyone here have both si and type r? Or plan to have both. I am getting a type r but I really want a si for daily commute. Maybe I am doing it wrong and just have the type r to daily. I honestly love both the si and type r. Also is there a tracker for si? Hard to find an orange one.

Just get 2 Type Rs -- a 2023 AND a 2024 -- and then let us know the differences.

I picked mine up on 9/12 for only $3,690 over. I contacted over 20 dealerships and talked with the ones that responded quickest with under $10k markup. I lucked into this deal as someone had already negotiated it down but didn't want to pick it up until the weekend. They got me $100 lower than that person to pick it up the next day.
