  1. What did you do to your FL5 today?

I don’t like ppf, I like polishing and waxing my car regularly, when I go to car shows most cars that have had ppf for while look bad to me. I see peeling and can clearly tell the car has worn ppf. I don’t mind a few rock chips here and there from normal driving since my ITS is not my daily...
  2. Heads up on PLM-A02 filters

I would like to know why some dealers are not in dreamshop, in my experience these dealers are not honest and try to sell parts over MSRP.
  3. Heads up on PLM-A02 filters

Be careful when buying oil filters and spark plugs from eBay and Amazon, there is a lot of fake Chinese parts out there.
  4. Help clean up my mind

I recently did my EPS recall myself for this same reasons, I never took my car in for it’s free oil changes to be done by a rookie lube tech. I will only use the warranty if something catastrophic breaks on my car. I’ve had way too many bad experiences with dealer service, to take any more chances.

  8. FL5 recall (2022-2025 Civic Steering Gearbox Assembly)

If this TSB is only paying the techs 1.7 hours on flat rate, and the subframe has to be dropped, and the steering rack removed expect some carnage Left behind. I think this time also includes the alignment, this is not enough time.
  9. FL5 recall (2022-2025 Civic Steering Gearbox Assembly)

I haven’t had any steering issues either, not planning on letting the dealer mess with my car anytime soon. From what I’ve seen so far the subframe has to be lowered and the steering rack completely removed.

  11. Asked a Honda engineer about the factory fill and whether there was any benefit to keeping it in longer

This is somewhat related, I recently got a Honda lawnmower. I changed the oil after 1 hour of use and I could actually see metal particles in the oil.
  12. Maintenance schedule

I believe it tells you somewhere to change the oil at least once a year even if the MM doesn’t get down to 15%.
