I think my biggest regret was not getting the fender vent guards installed from day one as I’ve got some rock chips from there. I also regret not ordering the OEM carbon wing with the car. Now after 18months of ownership it’s hard to justify a carbon wing with the ever increasing cost of living. Maybe one day.
Hmmm... "fender vent guards"? What are those? I am in the US and it looks like you are in Australia. Different accessories for different FL5 domestic markets, so I hear.

I'm new to the whole forum thing and I don't know how to post links. Here in the US there is a company out of Utah called Rokblokz who makes a huge line of splash guards and mud flaps for various vehicles, including the FL5 Type R.
My Type R Rockblokz Rally Mud Flaps are in the mail as of February 22nd and should arrive to me here in Texas as of tomorrow, February 25th. The Rally Mud Flaps have solid front wheel vent block inserts as well as honeycomb ventilated inserts, so you can choose which is right for your car. The YT channel has an install video for FL5 Rally Mud Flaps.

Website: Rokblokz.com

YouTube: Rokblokz

They may have an option for you, and from where I sit in Texas, Australia doesn't look TOO far from Utah.

Edit and Disclaimer: I don't actually know if Rokblokz will ship to Australia, but it looks like they do ship internationally, so I don't see why they wouldn't ship to you.

Highly recommend these ones. Really nicely made and packaged.

Hi Shingo, I waited to reply to this message until after I received and installed my RokBlokz Rally Mud Flap kit. The RokBlokz set is strong yet flexible plastic, so no chance of aluminum "pinging" noise when the grill is hit by rocks. I won't post the whole install here; I will be creating a personal thread for my mods. However, here is the kit and a sneak preview...

The RokBlokz Rally Mud Flap kit includes all the parts and hardware for all four corners, so one order has you covered.

Happy flap hunting!

The only thing I regret is not looking up how much fuel system upgrades cost prior to buying.

Yo, nooice!

I thought maybe I'd be in a (redneck) league of my own on this one. Although the RB Splash Guards are a lot more subtle than the Redneck ... uhh, I mean Rally Mud Flaps, sooo... uhh, nevermind, I guess.

The fact that someone else on this forum went with RokBlokz, though, does make me feel just a bit more civilized than when I woke up this morning. Can't figure out if that's supposed to be good or bad...

Don't really much matter either way, as long as we're all having fun.

Cheers.

P.S. :
You have photos?

Chilly, you slackin...

Don't you know that, by the power of the TOS and the Almighty EULA, it is thine sworn duty to the Gawddz of the Forumz of the Internetssez, to always post all of thine mods to the Almighty Forumz, mattering not what?

Dost thou not knowest what shame and wrath thy wilst bringeth upon thy self, and yet worse, upon thine own Civic?

This is why I am also thinking about getting a GR Corolla. It would be my daily and the FL5 would be my nice weather only car.

I so wish the FL5 didn't have so much piano black trim. I've PPF'd most of it, but still.

Allowing the dealership to put some sh** called First Place Finish on my car when I bought it. Not that they gave me a choice, but wrecked my paint. They’ve promised to fix it, but the weather has been crappy and I’ve not had a chance to get back to them,.

I wouldn't want them to fix it. Request some other concession. Doubtful you will receive money back, but perhaps a deep discount on an OEM part or accessory like PS4S or Cup 2 tires, carbon fiber wing, or forged wheels.

Yeah. I’ve thought about that too. I called the sales manager and spent a good bit of time discussing what how they were going to fix it. I was impressed with his offering, which is the one of the reasons I’m still considering letting them do it. I’m not sure what the appropriate $ value is For this. It’s a butt ton of work. I noticed the other day they even scratched the shiny plastic between the doors. I need to find the post someone did of the shiny black PPF replacement strips.

Nice. With roads seemingly getting worse in most countries this is a good call. About to fix my 10+ stone chips from a combo of crappy chipseal roads and butter soft Honda paint.
