In that case just buy the RV6 end links. They make very high quality parts.I got a deal on a new RV6 RSB with no end links. So, that's why I am asking about what route to take.
Did they work??? I’m thinking about getting them too. 40$ vs 230$ or something. Are the oem ones really that bad.I decided to try the Accord end links. Hopefully they do the job.
Haven't done the install yet. I rarely drive the car, so it hasn't been a priority. The OEM on the FL5 are plastic. Not worth taking the chance with an aftermarket sway.Did they work??? I’m thinking about getting them too. 40$ vs 230$ or something. Are the oem ones really that bad.
The OE FL5 end links are actually pretty heavy duty and can be used with the RV6 by themselves. There's no need to go with Accord endlinks if you own a FL5/DE5. The base model Civic has plastic endlinks, the FL5/DE5 on the otherhand have a very heavy metal endlink. The price of the FL5 endlinks are over $100/pair to replace and that's why the Accord endlink is recommended for base model Civics to upgrade.Haven't done the install yet. Simply went off of what numerous people told me...The OE FL5 end links are actually pretty heavy duty and can be used with the RV6 by themselves. It's crazy how much misinformation is out there on this subject.
The other Civic trims have plastic end links, that may have been where the confusion is. I would say getting adjustable end links may help. I've recommended and seen a few people run the Whiteline end links without issue.Simply went off of what numerous people told me...
