Paid MSRP + $1500 "worth" of add on's (splash guards, interior and exterior protection, rubber floor flats). Kind of regret not looking at this forum prior to buying, because I still had the mindset of that of 2 months ago when there wasn't many for sale and ADM's were still a thing. Doing a quick search on car gurus and you can see that there are many more FL5's available now. So getting at MSRP or below should be the norm, especially with the current state of our economy.

I got mine from Great Lakes Honda in Akron Ohio. Worked with Gina and is definitely one of the best purchase experience. She was willing to work with out of state buyers, but of course I had to coordinate the shipping. She'll do MSRP...just got to ask. CTRs don't sit long on their lot, so if they have one, act fast.

My local dealer 128 Honda has a Type R right on the website at $46,235. Is this common? I didn’t think it would be that easy.

I can’t buy til summer 2025 unfortunately.

It is common. They are automatically pulled into the system at MSRP and the fun begins when you call. Provided the production run continues for this car and there are no weird supply chain issues you'll have zero problems purchasing at MSRP next year. Just sit tight.

Wow, all these Florida dealerships are still at $2,000+ dealer fee or more… Stuart and Vero Honda won’t budge off of $5,000 ADM

MSRP, zero add-ons and a low dealer processing fee up in PA. If interested PM me, there is a BB and SGP one available...

Made a memorable road trip experience out of this ordeal and I'd do it all over again!
see people travel for the deal!! I did it and it was awesome

And some other gibberish like paint cila jet or someshit which is also BS I bet

I couldn't do any better in SOCAL, let me know, at least it's not just ADM to toss money away, they actually tried to give stuff

I called everywhere in LA and Orange and they all want 4-5k some still even putting 10k

California sucks, I told them it's MSRP in other states, nobody gives a f here

I just bought mine for MSRP at Lia Honda in Albany, NY. I wanted SGP, and in my state (MA), all the dealers I called here and in CT & NH had ADMs ranging from 2k to 5k, unless I traded in or financed. I may have had better luck going in person, but I didn't want to waste my time. Anyhow, when I called Lia, there was no pressure to finance or trade in. It was a very pleasant experience.

As of Saturday, they still had a BB and CW on the floor. I worked with Erin and will be happy to provide her number if anyone is interested.

I would buy out of state at MSRP and gladly pay shipping or better yet enjoy the drive home on a new CTR. I refuse to pay California dealers a mark-up or for accessories I never wanted.

It all comes down to choices, nothing against people who do pay it all.
